I’m actually inclined to agree with you. While I still like those songs they’re my least returned to easily

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

She's Out Of Her Mind, Parking Lot, Don't Mean Anything and Wildfire are pretty solidly my skips. Kings, No Future, Satellites, Rabbit Hole, California and The Only Thing are fun sometimes in their mindlessness. Everything else I listen to pretty regularly.

I was really in the "hope they stay on the same kind of post-Untitled path" camp, but when it came out everything just seemed to be going shitty and it was sort of exactly the type of blink record I needed.

I mean in a way. I made a playlist of 14 songs and that's solely what I listen to, never either disc by itself. But I love 14 songs and am plenty satisfied with them lol

I just don't really listen to the weaker songs. Only things "unlistenable" to me are the 4 skips and the three joke songs.

    Things have changed.

I wish I saw the redeeming qualities of songs like "Last Train Home" and "6/8" as much as other people. I think those songs are totally dreadful.

The only part of 6/8 that I really like is the "I just wanna find a car to overturn." I like that line. I like the way Mark sings it and the drums. Its good.

Too bad about the rest of the song.

I'll take them trying something different, tho.

I absolutely love the chorus of 6/8

blink has been my band since 99 and I can't get into California beyond No Future, Sober, She's Out Of Her Mind, and BTD. Those songs are okay/decent, everything else is meh or bad.

Nothing has affected me as much as Untitled in terms of blink. I don't think anything ever will.

That being said I like Neighborgoods, I like DED, and I like California. Yeah, some songs are way better than others, but I appreciate the output as a whole because it's "new blink" which is something we weren't used to for a while.

I don't think they'll ever reach that Untitled-level of creativeness again, but I'll appreciate and listen to anything new they ever put out. I'm bound to find a couple songs I'm connected to. Plus those new albums always latch on to a certain time frame in my life. So when I revisit them, it's like a dose of nostalgia in a way.

There's not much from the standard edition that I don't like, but there's a large chunk that I don't listen to anymore. The record came out (or leaked I think?) a day before I left for vacation, so I have a lot of great memories tied to all of these songs. I had a ton of fun with it for that whole summer but kind of put it away after that....though I'm not sure this record was even meant for anything besides that exact thing.

Always do the right thing. Supporter

Bored to Death and Sober are the only California/deluxe songs I ever even think about wanting to listen to. But I tend to listen to music in full albums so since I never want to spin California I never listen to them

  12. Last train home is the best deluxe song. Also love the bridges to parking lot, misery, 6/8.

I never listened to alkaline trio but if there is one song that would highlight Matt the best and get me to want to check out their discography, what would that song be?

I read this fast and thought you were saying “In My Eyes” was a Matt Skiba song you were recommending so I spent a few minutes searching for it because I didn’t recongize the title. Haha.
