Anyone who thinks the refs gave the Cowboys that game clearly have a bias.

Pettigrew grabbed Hitchens' facemask and pulled it down and towards himself where he literally couldn't see. Pettigrew caused the pass interference. It's arguable whether they should have re-played that down or just go to 4th, which is what they did.

The refs didn't cause the Lions to puss out and punt on 4th and short, or that the punt was a horrible shank, or that the Lions allowed the Cowboys to march the field including that 4th down conversion, or letting them get the lead-changing touchdown, or Stafford fumbling twice on their potential game-winning drive.

They were also held to 3 points in the second half, but yeah, the refs gave us the game.

Get that tired shit out of here.

 

Plus, if people actually think we're able to have refs give us games, why haven't we won Super Bowls or been to the Super Bowl in over two decades.

It was pass interference, clear as day. The refs fucked up, there's zero denying that

 

He grabbed his helmet, pulled it over his eyes, and then pulled him towards himself which caused him to run into him. That's what the refs saw.

And this is also ignoring them not giving Dez a penalty for running onto the field without his helmet to argue about the call too

 

The refs deemed the pass interference as being caused by Pettigrew himself, so it makes sense they picked up the flag.

What Dez didn't isn't an automatic penalty, as well as Lions players were doing the same thing on the same play and they didn't get a flag, so that's a moot point.
