Selling games back to gamestop is a ripoff, that is one of the many reasons I went digital. You most likely will not even get back 50% of what you purchased it for, unless you finish it within a week, and that is most likely not going to happen. The best thing to do is trade amongst people for games or codes, that way it goes to somebody else who might enjoy it more than you and nobody gets ripped off from GameStop. Plus, with the sharing of profiles digitally, it makes it 50% cheaper to get games digitally.

Mercy's pistol is dope. I don't normally play healers but she's a great character, I never once felt hindered despite basically my main being a healing/attack buff

Finally getting a POTG sure does feel good.

Mercy is the best character in Overwatch. It's so satisfying backing up your teammates.

Yeah, you can actually reasonably fight off whoever's trying to interrupt your healing, usually get a solo kill or two a game with Mercy, it's deadly accurate.

    Doming people is so satisfying.

Don't get me started on buffing bastions, the BEST

Oh what's that Reinhardt, you gonna try to pin me to the wall... would be a shame if I just flew over to one of my teammates. :eh:

haha I didn't have one on my team when I played her, but I can't even imagine buffing bastion in turret mode, something that feels OP on it's own.

Just beat Ori and the Blind Forest on hard. What a freaking challenge. Probably the most difficult game I've played since Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox. Thankfully this game felt fair and I had a ton of fun with it. Nothing like having to jump and move perfectly for 30 seconds straight while working your way up the tree, or running away from the owl. Great game.

Interesting, just googled the profile sharing and didn't realize that was even possible. I definitely have a friend I could trust who generally buys the same games as me.

If you share a digital profile, do you have to be connected to the other person forever to continue to play the game, or is it yours permanently once you download it?

So, in order to share games you have to swap which console is your home one. Your home console will be his and his home console will be yours. Be aware that you can only do this three times in one year so make sure this is the right guy you want to buddy with.

Do y'all really expect to be able to trade in a game to Gamestop or elsewhere and get your money back?

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

It frustrates me that we had four people around the perimeter of the objective and just me defending inside. I die and the other team bum rushes and they have four in there. My teammates proceed to stick to the perimeter and the other team almost fully captures the objective easily.

I'm definitely interested in seeing how Overwatch evolves overtime, it's very good right now, but it could turn into something significantly less fun if the meta-game becomes as restrictive it is in other MOBAs and TF2, hopefully if it does it's constrained to ranked play.

Part of the fun here is that the game is so casual-friendly, no tracking of a KDA, nothing that would lead someone to troll another player over their poor play is indicated in the leaderboard. Well designed characters, everything is so polished and welcoming.

Expanding the roster will also be interesting to see, you figure they'd want to get more builder/sniper classes since they are explicitly indicated in the role call, but are the most limited of the roles with only 3 characters available.

What a month of gaming between Overwatch, Doom and Uncharted 4. All are GOTY contenders.

Speaking of, what/who is a builder exactly?

No, but generally I'd rather get something than nothing if I'm never going to play a game again anyway.

I don't play a lot of games so trading with other people doesn't seem like it would be for me as I'm generally buying new games. The profile sharing option does seem like a good compromise for me though.

I absolutely agree, I buy physical if it's available and have no problem trading stuff back but I go into it knowing i'm not getting near what I paid for it and that's okay. As long as I get something it's all good to me.

Some sort of a roadmap would be great - how often we can expect new maps/modes/heroes, what sorts of features they're looking at adding.

My best friend and I console share on PS4 and Xbox. We just take turns buying the games we both want to play and it's saved me hundreds of dollars.

Yeah this is basically where I'm at. If I beat a game/know I probably won't put any more time into them then I'll just trade them for something new and not have to deal with selling on Amazon or CL. Beside if it's going towards a game I was gonna buy anyway, it's either pay that $60 for digital, or trade and get it for a bit less.

Now maybe if buying digital only cost like $40 or something (like overwatch on PC) then I might reconsider.

    Shut Up

I don't think anyone expects to get their money back in full or close to it, but Gamestop is notorious for being a major rip off on trade ins.

I sell all of my used games online when I'm done with them and never recoup any less than 50% of what I paid for it, which is great.
