real talk though, i'll probably be at do division and wicker park fest this summer to fill my outdoor fest quota. the saturday of do division fest is killer with BVS and Chris Farren. if the rumored wicker park fest lineup even comes close to being true (against me! + others), i'll be there in a heartbeat.

 

Bear Vs. Shark is one of the best live shows outside of LB

 

Do Division was a gosh darn zoo last year. I think it’s like the first somewhat popular festival of the year so everyone goes.

 

It’s highly probable. Wes Borland is well connected to the punk scene and they’re more rooted in hardcore and punk than any of their peers.

 

I was amazed I found street parking like two blocks away when I went last year...it makes sense. It's Chicago's informal kickoff to its summer festival season.
