New Doom is fairly good. Don't think it tops Doom 3 though.

 

Doom 3 would be great if it weren't called a Doom game.

 

I think it's still a great Doom game, just one that tried something different and had mixed results with it. There are some moments that still make me jump years later.

 

Looks like the Game Fuel stuff is working with Titanfall 2 this Fall.

 

No CoD tie-in? Interesting, normally that stuff goes hand in hand with it.

 

Also, the red one is the only one that matters. The other flavor is typically ho hum/meh from my experiences.

 

The age of COD is over.

 

It took almost ten years but it finally happened. I wonder how long Activision is going to keep churning them out until they finally bury that series.

 

One of my favorite things to do is go to metacritic and see what games came out in certain years. 1996 was a good one for PC players.

Were you guys talking about the Humble Ubisoft Bundle? I already have Far Cry 3 and I'm not that interested in Assassin's Creed or the Tom Clancy games.

Deep Silver Bundle and Capcom Bundle would've been neat if I didn't already get most of those games the first time around. Humble Bundle's been pretty good lately, though.

 

Awesome! Thanks for this! Yeah, the pick it up and play it short bursts really appeals to me. May need to add this to my list to grab on sale, have so many games and they keep piling up. Also, moving hasn't helped haha. Been focusing on UC4 lately.

Also The Witness is phenomenal but doesn't seem like a game I could beat. Got stumped with just over 120 panels solved.

I made the mistake of starting a new Civ5 game last night. Several hours later, and many minutes past midnight, I set up a World Congress. I'm so tired at work today but it was totally worth it.

I think if you're looking for the next Vanquish or Bayonetta, this definitely isn't it.

But if you're looking for a modern old school game a la streets of rage, this might fit the bill.

Oddly enough the video kept referring to Legend of Korra as a bad game, but that was a game that sold me even further on it. Sure it had a crappy camera, but overall it's an old school brawler that I want to play just for the fun of it. It's definitely not UC4, but I don't expect it to be either.

 

So, partly due to lurking in this thread, I opted to buy Overwatch for my new PS4. I have to be honest, the idea of online gaming is a bit intimidating since I haven't done it in like 6 years, but hopefully I can link up with some nice folks from here who won't berate me too bad haha.

 

Ok so I only got to play for maybe an hour or two last night, but I'm in love with Overwatch, it's so much fun. Only got to try a handful of characters, but I was cleaning up with D. Va

 

Had no idea Blizzard made this page, this is awesome. Usually have to rely on third party community sites for this stuff. I love stats.

Just picked up Halo 5. Haven't played a Halo beyond the story since....2007? I'm not very good, but I would love to hop into some multiplayer matches with anyone who'd be down for some friendly matches!

I'm sort of in the same boat. I do a fair amount of online gaming, but it's mostly Rocket League. I'm generally pretty bad at FPS's (tbh I never really put in the time with them though). I'm considering picking this up though!
