Yeah, we can make fun of fan theories all we want. But when the band pulls stuff like this, it makes it understandable. This is pretty exciting!

 

Haven’t been into this band much in a while, but I’m cautiously in for this. Hopefully they can pull off something interesting, I don’t envy the position they’re in right now having to follow up such a huge album.

Also, Vessel was fantastic but I think the last album was a little hit and miss. I’d like some more experimental stuff though but at this point I’m just glad they are back.

 

I had never really been into this band, I’ve understood why they’re popular and recognized they have talent while never really connecting with their music before.

Anyway long story short, the owner of the music site I write for told me to check out their debut album earlier... I’m actually kind of floored. This is so much more than I ever would have expected in terms of musical and thematic depth, and is making me see the band in a whole new light. I always used to think some of the themes on Blurryface came across as gimmicks, but they’re expressed really quite powerfully on here.

 

Have you listened to Vessel yet? Self-Titled is good but I think it pales in comparison to Vessel (and Blurryface, IMO).

 

I've heard Vessel, so far I think the self-titled is better than either that or Blurryface, but I'll have to give Vessel another listen because it's been quite a while.

 

Vessel is so so good. Probably in my Top 15 of the decade. The self-titled is great and probably less of an immediate turn off, but Vessel is more focused and refined. I'd recommend listening to Vessel again with a fresh set of ears (and Blurryface for that matter) once you're done with the self-titled.

Terrific band. I'm adamant on that point and definitely in the minority on this site, but I've followed them for a while now and what they do is just really something. I keep expecting to grow out of their stuff and I only come to appreciate and respect them more and more with time.

Source?? There are so many rumors, theories, and flat out delusions going on in this fan base right now.

Someone that works for the band retweeted a post that said 5 days 1 hour April 22nd, again everything is just speculation but this is a likely lead I guess

 

I think I know who you're talking about, it was discussed on Reddit. He doesn't work for the band, he's a "Clique artist" who in the past I guess had some of his art used by the band.

 

I honestly believe it though, they can't be all cryptic and drop all this Dema/Clancy info without releasing something soon

 

I hope it's soon. 10 months of being completely silent is pretty nuts. Good for them for getting a break, but I'm ready for them to come back.

 

Oh they are coming back this month, everything points for them to return within the next few weeks/days

Both Jon Bellion and Mutemath (Both bands have toured with/done stuff with tøp in the past) have went silent on twitter along with twenty one pilots. Big collab or tour in the works?

 

I’d say Tour is out for both since they just did that this last cycle but I’m betting on some sort of collab on this next album. Probably from a production standpoint but perhaps even guest vocals/instrumentation.

Also it’s been over two weeks since the teasing began. Throw us a bone here, guys.

 

Honestly the teasing has gotten old. Like if they keep teasing its going to become dull and overhyped. If they just throw us the bone now itll be great but if they continue the path they are taking fans are going to become pissed.

 

I think part of that is the fans taking it overboard. They’re literally calling all this an ARG. I think they planted a few clues in that website but overall I don’t think it was meant to be picked apart and investigated so thoroughly. They’re finding clues and context that don’t even exist.

But yeah, would have preferred no teasinng at all and just a sudden return, either a tour, a single, or I think they’re totally a band that could have Beyonce’d an album

 

It honestly has to be soon, It has to be. Im shaking my head at the fact that after all this teasing and hype they STILL haven't dropped a new song/tour or album information. Its confusing me and it seems like a lot of fans have been lead in the wrong direction and are becoming angry at other fans for falsely giving out information. Twitter has became a war with all the fans fighting about rumors and theories. They just need to drop something soon.
