Fucking hell. Congratulations, Lightning fans. Really disappointing end to the season but all in all it was a huge success. If you told me they’d finish second in the East in the regular season I’d have called you crazy. This team has a bright future.

Feels like whatever team came out of the Toronto/Boston series was going to lose here to Tampa.

Tampa/Jets final is going to be wild.

I was unable to watch today aside from my phone, so i didn’t feel the full frustration of the game. Overall a fun season and I’m looking forward to the future. Congrats to the Lightning fans!

 

This series was extra disappointing given how Boston dominated Tampa during the regular season. Obviously that has no bearing on the playoffs as Toronto owned Boston all season too. Credit to the Lightning for upping their game after game 1.

 

Despite their season, Bruins clearly another pairing away defensively. Good growth from the young guys. Time to build on it.

 

I am utterly shocked we reached the ECF in 10 games. I'm so pumped.

 

Losing half of your top 4 for the second year in a row due to injury will do that

 

Carlo didn’t have the best year but his injury hurt them. I love what McQuaid meant to the 2011 and 2013 teams and how hard he plays but I think I’m ready to move on from him.

 

Well sure, but injuries happen no matter what. Gotta build enough depth there.
