We had ARob and Bortles got greedy cause ARob has beast ball skills. But his passing style changed a lot this year when we went from having jump ball WR to nifty route runners. And his numbers improved overall as a result of that change.

I actually wonder if the faster smaller guys are a better "fit", in terms of getting Bortles to play smarter

 

That's a fine thing to disagree with. Weird to bring it up since I didn't say that though haha.

He and Lee have no chemistry. Dude CONSTANTLY throws bad passes to Lee and Lee is unable to adjust. Chark is a great fit because he's used to having to play with that kind of erratic throwing. Lee doesn't know how to catch an underthrown ball and keep going.

 

The wait between the draft and week 1 of the regular season is the doldrums.

For those who said Browns in the top-20 for power rankings / have them winning the AFC North...

I do agree they have SOME talent. Their schedule is tough, though. AND they still have Hue Jackson (who, in all likelihood should be gone by the BYE week).

I maintain 2-4 wins.

 

They aren't winning the division but they absolutely have a top 20 roster. If they start 0-3 I'd fire Hue instantly.

 

I'd be shocked if they get more than 6 wins.

 

I think we're really letting the Browns meme get to us here. Tyrod led that horrible Bills squad to the playoffs. Landry is already better than any receiver he's ever had. Plus he's got Gordon and Njoku + Hyde/Chubb/Johnson is a dope trio of runners PLUS a very good offensive line.

 

@CarpetElf idk what it is but even as Bortles accuracy has become a lot more consistent, he cant gauge Lee's speed or route timing to save his life. He dropped dimes to Cole and threw most his awful passes to Lee.

 

Hue Jackson is one of the worst coaches in NFL history.

 

The Browns knew they wanted the number 1 pick so they could select the QB they wanted. Jimmy and the FO paid Jackson to tank the season and ensure they secured the number 1 pick. Hue agreed to this but made them guarantee that he could keep his job despise going 1-31. Now that it is done Hue will be allowed to properly coach the team and not seem like an inept moron.
