Avengers: Infinity War (Joe & Anthony Russo, April 27, 2018) Movie • Page 95

Discussion in 'Entertainment Forum' started by oakhurst, Sep 16, 2016.

  1. I probably loved AoU when it came out, then soured on it a lot over the years, then found it pretty enjoyable when I recently re-watched it.

Btw the only reason I was able to rank every movie was because I recently re-watched them all in prep for Infinity War. Before that, a lot of them blended together quality-wise for me.

Thor is by far the worst MCU movie. I don't know anyone can say differently. It's an absolute chore to sit through.

I think I have a soft spot for Thor based on when I watched it. I also just really like Chris Hemsworth as Thor, even in those first two movies he was great to watch for me.

Honestly think I only saw The Incredible Hulk once, maybe twice.. I was honestly shocked when I found out it was canon in the MCU recently.

I think the first 2 Thor's suffer from them trying to make Thor way too serious, and lack of a great villain (Loki is great, but like, the robot was the big showdown, which still doesn't make sense to me). And some of the supporting cast sucked hard.

Curious if he, Valkyrie, Korg are out somewhere doing something, and weren't on the ship when Thanos showed up.

Loki is definitely the highlight of the two first Thor movies

Yes, I genuinely think the latest two MCU films are the best yet and I don't see that changing with time.

Iron Man 3 has grown on me tremendously over the past couple of years.

Iron man 2, not so much

Thor one was absolutely heartless, looked like a cheesy b-movie, had a horrendously idiotic fight sequence with the robot, forced a romance without any character development and had a terrible arc for Thor himself.

Thor: The Dark World may have had bad aspects, but it at least tried a lot harder to make something special.

I think I liked the atmosphere of TDW, but the Dark Elves were kind of a joke.

I've said this in here before but I love the end fight in Dark World (starting when Loki and Thor trick Malekith until the end is awesome)

And the scene when Malekith invades Asguard is also great imo

Aside from that it definitely has a ton of flaws

I think I'd go as far as to say the only redeeming aspect of the first two Thor movies is the dynamic between Thor and Loki

Would be a good guess. Apparently A4 has some stuff in Japan, and could usher in some Ronin action.

grateful all the fucking time Supporter

Thankful for lists that put Homecoming on a lower tier.

    My top 10 is currently
1.) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
    2.) Thor: Ragnarok
    3.) Black Panther
    4.) Guardians of the Galaxy
    5.) Captain America: Civil War
    6.) Captain America: Winter Soldier
    7.) Avengers: Infinity War
    8.) Iron Man
    9.) Iron Man 3
    10.) Avengers

I still love a lot about Age of Ultron. I love and hate largely the same aspects. What I hate has just weighed heavier in the few years since it came out. (Dang you, Whedon. How did you make the same "guy's face into woman's boobs" move for both Black Widow and Wonder Woman in the course of just 2 years?) But take out the mistreatment of Black Widow and the shoehorned Infinity War tease, and you'd have a pretty cool film.

Oh, and Iron Man 2 is in last place.
