A Brief Inquiry Into Relationships could be its own thing separate from the album? Idk this band could pull off anything

 

Like just an online campaign type thing about some of the themes

 

to me this just reads a lot like lyrics. I can almost hear Matty when I'm reading it, lol. I could definitely see them starting the first single with that first line.

 

I just hate all the forced rhyming sometimes in the passage.

 

the 2019 is definitely the end of the saga, this band always times the whole record cycle

I love rhymes. ILIWYS had a lot of good rhyming.

Why the fuck would a band release a countdown to a single a month in advance. Use your heads people.

 

The way Matty forces rhymes that shouldn't work is part of what I love about The 1975 so into those being lyrics

I honestly don’t know that I remember any of the singles beyond love me, which I definitely didn’t love but learned to like. Was change of heart a single? I still don’t like that one haha. Aside from that and Paris I adore the entirety of the last record. Your memory is impeccable my dude.

It’s not just this band. Extended rhyme schemes beyond a certain point have always been pretty eye roll to me.
