Myspace-core needs to make a comeback, I was a little kid during that original era so I missed out :p

I can attest to that. At my date in 2009, Bad Religion closed out the main stage and played at the same time as ADTR. There were maybe 200 of us at most watching BR.

As a high schooler during the Myspace era, you didn't really miss out that much. We all became great at HTML coding though.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

Same thing happened in Detroit, only Bad Religion's crowd looked a little bigger, mostly because half the crowd was camping out for 3OH!3.

Bad Relegion by far had a bigger crowd than ADTR at my date. ADTR had a big crowd in 2009 but it was waaay bigger in 2011 due to them blowing up.

I really enjoyed waiting 5 minutes for a full MySpace page to load, letmetellya.

The only thing I miss about the MySpace area is the local music scene in my area. We had 4 different locations and 200 or more people would come out on the weekends to support local bands. It was a great time and I met many of the friends I currently have through those shows. The Pokémon games released during that time period were great as well. Local shows and playing my DS were all that my weekends allowed.

Yeah NOFX played at the same time as ADTR and had a bigger crowd. 2009 wasn't really the year that punk bands struggled to draw since Bad Relgion and NOFX were on most dates. They definitely reached on too many bands that were not big in the Warped scene in 2010, which hurt the tour greatly. Sadly only a handful of punk bands would even draw a decent main stage crowd these days. Outside of Rise Agaist, NOFX, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, most "punk" bands would not draw on Warped past the 2009.

  9. Honestly my favorite lineup was probably 2016. Probably the reason I'm so excited about this year.

    So assuming that this weekend...

Looking back, I'd have to say that 2007 was my favorite year of the Warped Tour. I had just graduated college, and I was starting to grow into the music tastes that I still have to this day.

Back in 2007 the Warped Tour routing still began and ended in California, so I was able to hit the second day of the tour in Ventura and the final day of the tour in Carson. There were a few years I was able to hit multiple dates of the tour thanks to living in Southern California, but I remember each show being really different. So many new bands had joined for the second leg of the tour that by the time it hit Carson it felt like a new festival.

2007 had some of my favorite bands, such as Bayside, Poison the Well, the Matches, New Found Glory, and the Starting Line. It also had tons of bands I loved as a young teenager, like Sum 41, Chiodos, Circa Survive, Funeral for a Friend, the Unseen, Paramore, Anberlin, Blessthefall, Envy on the Coast, and Set Your Goals.

For me, it didn't get any better than that.

If anyone was curious on who was filling in on bass for Knuckle Puck while Homesafe is on tour, it'll be John Swaba from Forever Came Calling.

Looks like they moved The Used over to Left Foot now. I get to redo my spreadsheets again.

I can see this going over well at Warped. Fun and poppy enough for the casual MdP fan.

Kind of weird that TJ is going to be playing with them again. I wonder if he is going to leave Escape The Fate and join MIW full time.
