the faster, ska punk stuff he does where he's mostly shouting fast and the music is a little more chaotic never really appealed to me.

cause it's like a bridge between that stuff and Vacation

 

Get Warmer is probably his most straightforward, "rock" album. I think it does what sound he's going for on Worry/Post much better.

Side Projects is definitely a top Jeff song

 

Scrambles and Vacation are my favorites still, but for some reason I've never really been into Adults... which doesn't make sense, I know

 

Same for me. People always rank it as a top BTMI release and don’t get me wrong I like All Ages Shows as much as the next guy. But the rest of it is a bit too ska-heavy for me.

latterman is overrated

edit: actually they might be properly rated they're like the 20th best orgcore band

 

no band has ever put out an album that could accurately be defined as "pop punk" and have it better than latterman's best

I like ska even! I just liked BTMI better when they were doing anything but ska.

 

but what if you end up liking it? and say what you will about ska, but at least I didn't have to experience a million think pieces on the ska revival which makes it better than emo

 

There's a TON of good ska and ska-adjacent music
