We reach for the longest shadow

Also, whhhhaaatttt is Ye vs. the People? this sounds like a bad PSA

  2. I like "Gold Digger" and "Monster."

    That's about it.

I can see the torches coming my way now...

  3. MBDTF and Yeezus is the sweet spot for me, I love how those records stand on their own and work as a pair that complement each other. The two culminating in "I know you're tired of loving, of loving with nobody to love" is one of my favorite moments in the Ye discography.

I liked TLOP a lot when it came out but now that some time has passed, I think it's pretty clearly his weakest since at least Graduation (which isn't a bad record, 808s was just a gigantic step forward). 0 excitement for the new record based on what it's most likely gonna be about and how bad Ye vs. The People is.

always love the shift from "fuck kanye" to "let's talk about his genius". comes in waves (don't make the joke)

There are only like 3-4 songs from TLOP that I’ve gone back to since the first month it came out tbh

TLOP is A+ all the way through Frank's Track, and the bonus tracks vary in quality from good to great

I never understood the appeal of TLOP. I enjoyed Ultralight Beam, Famous, Real Friends and Fade. I'm fine never hearing the rest ever again.

I think 808s-MBDTF-Yeezus is his greatest run.

I think my run with Kanye ends with "Yeezus." TLOP is too tied now to Kanye's descent into madness/Trump-ism, starting with his obsession with Taylor Swift, Amber Rose and the "Famous" video.
