^I'd be more stoked on that Power Trip comp if it wasn't a re-release of old material...not that it's a bad thing we it comes to the physical releases. IIRC, most of that shit is out of print so I'll definitely purchase it when it comes out.

FYI, it's also a solid new release day - new stuff out there from Aura Noir, Homewrecker, Ingested, Varathon, Violation Wound, The Armed, and Wolf King among others.

oh fuck yeah. I remember a while back they posted a rough draft sketch version of that artwork on their instagram without ever really elaborating on it, cool to see it being used. Had no idea they had a rarities comp coming out.

 

Yeah I'm a huge PWD fan and the new shit is really getting worse each track. Wishing Wells was serviceable at least (minus that long ass spoken word intro). I can't get over what Winston is tryin to do vocally. It's not really singing and not screaming, just some awkward in-between. It also really shows that Jeffs favorite band is Metallica. This new album (so far) reminds me so much of what they did with the black album, going for an accessible sound and more hard rock aesthetic vs. their actual core sound that people loved them for in the first place

 

This new Inferi record is great.
