tfw an AI bot scores against you though

 

i only play competitive tbf i hate unranked mostly because AI

 

When I played RL with my friend last night, I had an itch so I was parked in goal for a second and the AI scored against me just as I finished scratching it.

 

Got my first Play of the Game (including a lot of Beta time) as Reaper and also got the Die Die Die achievement for killing 4 people with my Ult. Pretty happy with day one.

 

Some of those Overwatch achievements seem pretty rough

 

Played Overwatch til 2:30 am last night, so worth it. The game is so much fun when you have a full team in party chat. Got the Mercy trophy (and a couple others) last night, for resurrecting 4+ people at once.

 

Time to count down the minutes until work is over and I can play more Overwatch.

 

I'm the guy that commends myself always.

 

Got 40 eliminations in one match as D. Va last night, she's definitely my go-to. Her suicide special is amazing if you can launch it into a big group.

And yea, the game is the best/most fun when you have a party of 6 and can strategize and shit

 

Tbr I have never seen it in that way, it's always applied to men who are being condescending towards women or who assume they're experts compared to the women on account of their gender alone. If it is used in that way, I would say that's possibly a shitty misuse of the phrase. As a man, I have never felt threatened by the term mansplaining bc it doesn't apply to me on sole premise of my male-ness, it's predicated on me being a patronizing shit (sometimes unknowingly) and getting rightfully called on it.
If people have other experiences that's understandable, but my gut is trained to imagine most men who are hurt by the phrase are hurt because their head is up their ass. I would say this is supported by Notch apparently equating the severity of the word "mansplain" and "****fuse" which, again, is so patently absurd it seems almost willfull.

If any men have experiences where they felt they were diminished for speaking solely for being male, I'd be interested to hear about that.

 

What's the point of commending? I know if you get 5 they say nice but what does that do?

 

I have no interest in this game but that was fucking hilarious!

 

Marshawn Lynch is the best clueless gamer. He should be on all of them.

I've recently become enamored of Dan Gheesling. Winner and two-time contestant on Big Brother, he now is a motivational speaker who also plays tournaments and coop with some popular Binding of Isaac streamers as well as his own solo content. One of the most baffling transitions I've witnessed, but their dynamic is fucking dynamite

 

I ended up cancelling my pre-order for Overwatch after the beta. I did enjoy myself but I hated how literally the only form of progression was levelling up your account level and I didn't like how the loot crate contents were completely random. I just didn't feel like there was enough substance to it and felt I'd be bored after a couple of weeks.

Also didn't help I had nobody to play with and playing with strangers or people who get salty is just ugh.

 

I've been so into Rogue Legacy that I've dropped off on Issac lately. I was trying to run through everything as Lillith, but tend to struggle a bit. No idea how I pull off the new bosses with The Lost.

 

Damn you gotta try the keeper, he'll fuck you right up. Rogue is fun but idk it felt a little too grindy for the actual mechanics

 

I've been doing Greed runs to unlock but it feels like it is taking forever.

 

Oh that's RIGHT unlocking that is insanely grindy. Pretty sure there are mods that put the donation machine on the first floor so you can do it a little faster

 

Hopefully not a latepass, but I guess that leaked Red Dead 3 map was confirmed as real, also will be a prequel (which makes sense given like, the entire plot of the last game)

 

I still think Bastion and Mei are OP, everybody else seems well balanced.

 

Someone on Xbox One should play Rocket League with @jump start and I in the near future.

We are godlike.

They both have so many counters though. For Bastion, teleport behind him with Reaper or Tracer, snipe him with Widowmaker or Hanzo, or just deflect his shots back at him with Genji. For Mei, just stay out of short range, or take her on 2v1. Her ice block thing heals her, sure, but it doesn't help her escape. If you're overpowering her, it just delays her death.
