Tony’s probably gonna have to tell Aunt Meg about what happened to Peter and blame it on itself and I KNOW that’s gonna rip my soul apart

I apologise for the spoiler posts. I completely forgot that we had it earlier and it has been out for 2 days here. I've went back and altered the posts with spoiler tags but I'm genuinely sorry if I ruined any experience for you.

Still see it though, it's a spectacle on the big screen.
Supposedly Best Buy had the Blu-Ray released as August 14th before the page was taken down.

I really need to go back and see it because I could not hear the dialogue much in the theater I saw it in. Either I’m going deaf or it was super low

I love smaller stories, but how the fuck do you follow up these two movies including next May.

Like everything else will be just like...yeah what we defeated and how we saved the universe that last time? Any other story is going to seem so trivial or even just the characters attitudes towards adversity. Its like bitch compared to Thanos this is NOTHING. Especially with many heroes there are now how do they have their separate adventures?

It will be interesting. I hope they get Feige back because I trust hed make it work better than anyone could.

I just get an idea of Tony seeing a news report and it’s Aunt Meg yelling “WHERE’S MY BOY” and wow that would hurt

I really do love what they did with Thanos. The soul stone scene genuinely moved me.

Also, after noticing that all the original Avengers survived, I really hope that A4 is their proper sendoff and for whatever reason several of them will have to die/sacrifice themselves to reverse the snap. Strange also clearly knew that losing the initial battle to Thanos and letting him do the snap was the only way to end up winning later. Doctor Strange playing the long game.

Idk, I'm not getting into this again. I've fought this battle multiple times on this site and I've come away learning I'm clearly one of the shockingly small minority who cares about preserving the experience of seeing a movie fresh for people. So I'm just more sensitive to it than most people, I guess.

I saw the movie so ultimately it doesn't matter to me personally what anyone does.

That and the first scene with Tony and Strange for sure. Was definitely really intense. BvS opening did that well too IMO.

Are people seriously already spoiling it in here? What shitheads. People can show an ounce of restraint and wait like three days at least. Glad I didn’t read anything beyond three posts up! I like to come in to movie threads to see how people react to it before I go, so no spoilers is definitely nice!

    Good looking out @Anthony_

I respect your concern for it but I think its unfair to accuse others of not caring. Its simply a difference in perspective on what the best policy is. After a movie is released those who have seen it which will be a lot of people are naturally going to want to talk about it all. Those who havent will more than likely not want to even come in the thread if people are talking about it all. Especially with a sea of black bars on the screen. The excitement discussion is over. The discussion about the movie starts. If thats the rule that is generally known and accepted and people know spoilers will be talked about, then people will know not to enter if they dont want to see spoilers.

It hasn’t been out for 24 hours lmao. It takes two seconds to put the spoiler tag in and not ruin it for people who are just excited to see how others who love the movies react

    “The greatest teacher, failure is”

But I guess as this exemplifies its not a rule known or accepted by everyone so my point is kind of mute lol

Like I get it after two, maybe three days, but not even 24 hours is pretty lame and lazy of people

Hey how did Thanos know who Tony was? Am I forgetting something from a previous film?

Well we can have a convo about the rules, but as it is written the rule is opening day. Spoilers are fair game. Wasnt being lazy was just following that. And on a phone it is super annoying to have to do it every single time. And I went back and tagged mine anyways.

Glad you didnt get spoiled though!

I totally agree and I'm actually someone who generally doesn't care about spoilers and reads them anyway. But it's about courtesy for those who do care.

  20. I was going to go see a movie other than Avengers this weekend (to avoid a crowded theater) but Avengers is hogging almost everything in the theater! There's like 3 or 4 other movies playing (when there's normally 8 or so) but the rest of rooms are just Avengers. Gah!

Cop out answer but I assume with the mind stone he can read his mind. Maybe thats how he knew about his guilt?

Yeah 100% this. I agree that's why the people who survived survived. They cleared the board of the newbies so that they can come back and pick up the pieces later after (I'm guessing) Stark and Cap die (in addition to others who may also die). Also Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, plus Captain Marvel will be joining the survivors so they won't be hurting for assistance.

I was definitely glad that Rocket survived though.

It's funny to me because this is the movie that finally gave me superhero movie fatigue. It was very predictable and even though it had some great performances, Tom Holland in particular, I can't help but feel just drained like it's just all blending together.

With the announcements of the upcoming releases and knowing what I know now from the ending of this movie I'm struggling to care because I'm aware of how temporary consequences or impactful moments in the superhero universe are. It's just a bummer.

Amazing movie. However the deaths had little-to-no weight on me as they will clearly come back in some form. Was a bit disappointed in that, but it is what it is.

I'll agree with the second paragraph. I'm in no way fatigued. I absolutely love these huge super hero movies.
