There was that interview with Tom where he said it was basically only Tre who kind of went off during one interview. Not sure how true it is but Tom even said he and Bille Joe would call each other every now and then after the tour ended.

I think if there was ever legit animosity between the two, Green Day wouldn't have been featured so prominently in Riding In Vans With Boys.

That said, the one person barely featured is Tre. But he's always come off as a brat to me anyway.

    Shut Up

Tre Cool has always just seemed like a really strange dude.

Though I like Green Day more, I will admit that besides Billie Joe I definitely like the members of Blink as people more than the members of Green Day. Mike kind of gets on my nerves sometimes because he's kind of a tryhard and Tre is really fucking weird.

I actually don't find any of the members of either GD or blink to come across as very personable but they're still both great bands so I just work around it.

Not sure if this question has been asked yet, but do we know when the lucky winners will be announced for the preorder? Would be awesome if I won tickets for another show.
Just a reminder if you preordered one of the more expensive packages:
-300 Winners get a ticket to a show of their choice in the first 15 Rows
-10 Winners get a signed fender bass instead of the drumhead
    - 20 Winners get VIP tickets for a show of their choice

Started as a guilty pleasure and then realized I had every album and pretty much knew every song. I think people are finally starting to realize she has a ton of talent outside of the radio-friendly pop stuff.

    Things have changed.

It will likely be revealed when people get their preorder packages. That's how it worked with Neighborhoods.

I interviewed Tom in 2008 and asked him about this. He said it was pretty much a Tre thing/ Tre is crazy

  14. Okay, while we're on the subject. Here is when Green Day and Blink announced the Pop Disaster tour on TRL. Plenty of awkward moments, but mostly because Carson Daly is a huge tool.

Wasn't Tom like the owner of that shoe brand Macbeth? I remember Mike Dirnt had his own shoe with them. Not that that means anything though.

Yes, until 2014 or so when he sold it off. He no longer has that, Really Important People (which employed like 15 people) or any of the other things that he made like his wife's shitty ebay clone.

Just To The Stars and that's it pretty much.

  17. Do they still make Atticus clothes anywhere?

Just finished Travis' book. Pretty much solidified all the negative ideas I already had about him really, but the thing that got me is that Tom has a few parts in it where he has obviously either written or been interviewed for the book but isn't even mentioned in the acknowledgements at the end.

  22. Out of Mark, Tom, and Travis, Travis was the nicest one I met. So there's that, at least.

I've always wondered how much of the stuff about his youth is actually true. Like, one of my friends from HS is REALLY into Guns N Roses and when someone (I don't remember who, maybe it was Slash) came out with a biography, he thought it was the coolest thing that he supposedly lost his virginity when he was like, 10. And I'm just like, "that's such a blatant lie"

Yeah I got about two chapters into that book and gave up. It was just ludicrous to me.
