Yeah I know. Normally Id never be skeptical with this band. They just harped on like the one single word they could have said to make me 0.1% skeptical. This band is legendarily consistent and Im stoked af.

Never been huge on the Rainbow Signs bridge either. Don't hate it or anything, but it's never been a highlight. Feels less...melodic? than the other heavy parts of the album.

    I do not exist.

The only downside to heavier mewithoutYou is that it considerably lowers the chance of me playing this to my wife!

(I managed to play her Pale Horses all the way through in the car a grand total of one time!)

That section is up there too and is also pretty heavy, lol.

Also Rainbow Signs is definitely my favourite song from PH and was even my favourite mwY song for a bit.

I'm really curious how Aaron is going to decribe fatherhood through his lyrics.

probably because that whole part is 100% a callback to A-->B

maybe so. I guess that would make sense on some level as for how I feel about it.

Am I remembering right that I think the breakdown on Bear's Vision was a call back to something off Blood Enough for Us All? I think Flamethrower or something?

If this heavy music teased is anything similar to Rainbow Signs I'm so fucking excited for this album. Prob my most anticipated album of the year now.

“I admit, it warms my heart to watch your world fall apart.” Has got to be one of my favorite lines in any song ever lol

would argue if you haven't been there you're an impossibly good person or a liar. I love the phrasing of "it warms my heart" and especially how it ends up working syntactically with his emphasis.

guess I'm listening to pale horses now lol

Yeah, we’ll, I barely consider that album part of their discography tbh. I never listen to it
