Because I haven’t been on much. Fuck the 12s. Fake ass fraudulent scrubs.

The first down season this team has (this year), they’ll all start abandoning ship and filter up north a few miles to Montlake just as they did in the early 2000s.

Fuck I hate them.

The hell is montlake?

 

I’m sitting on the light rail passing Century Link right now and if I could go super saiyan and rip this thing down with my hands, I’d do it and throw it to the lochness monster in the Puget sound.

 

Montlake is a neighborhood in Seattle on the UW Campus. Husky Stadium is located there.

I probably should have been more descriptive.

I moved to Seattle in 2003 and while I’ve always been an Eagles fan, I had an underlying rooting for the Seahawks because I didn’t grow up in an area with the NFL team (Denver was like 1,000 miles away) so I thought it was cool.

I’ve now done the sharpest 180 on that thought since 2012-2013.

But you couldn’t give tickets away for a while here and then when they turned it around, the fans came out in droves with their “12/Fan” jerseys. It’s a disgrace.

Ultimately, my thing is this.....when your team sucks for years at a time, of course attendance is going to suffer but when they turn it around and you all return, don’t ask for constant validation and say “you’ve been here all along” and you're a “12 for life” when you can’t name a quarterback before Russell Wilson.

 

Are there Seahawks fans in here or is that only during the playoffs?

 

I’m aware of one but I think he only posts here during the season.

I believe @theagentcoma shares my beliefs on this situation. Perhaps not to my level but still. I think he’s a Bengals fan.

Well I went to a Seahawks-Eagles game in 2009. Stands were pretty full at the start.

Koren Robinson caught like a 68 yard TD pass on the opening play of the game from Seneca Wallace and the place was lively and then McNabb took their soul and the place was a ghost town with 13:00 left in the fourth quarter in an 11-12 point game (so still very much in reach)

Frauds.

About what? Our fan base? It’s definitely been a trip watching the rise and fall. Those dave kreig and rick mirer years were rough.

It will be interesting to see how this year plays out. Our home schedule is brutal (actually I think we have the 5th toughest schedule based on last year’s records). It’s orobably a rebuilding year but we’ve had season tickets in my family since 76.
