I loved it too, albeit not quite as much as everyone else it appears. It's a bit jump scare heavy as others have pointed out, but it still lived up to expectations for me

Still need to see this, but to be honest I'm a little afraid that my mild tinnitus will diminish my enjoyment of this film

I enjoyed this a ton. Not as scary as I would have liked, felt more of a sci-fi thriller than horror film, but did not expect to get hit with the feels as much.

You're the first one to comment on the ending and I agree. I didn't think it fit either.

The ending was pretty much my only complaint with the movie...

Same here. Watched it yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless though.

There is no real need for one to be honest, it’s fine as a standalone movie. This is such a problem with horror, a movie does really well and then it gets a bunch of unnecessary sequels or prequels that dilutes why the original was so great and just repeats the same story over and over again. Just let it be, Paramount.

I agree but it’s just how Hollywood is run, movie makes money... sequel will make just as much. At least Get Out has no intention of a sequel. Oh wait...

I think a sequel revolving around a different family could be interesting, I don't see one making sense being a direct sequel but who knows

It would just be the same movie though. I guess if one had to be made, have it focus on Regan when she’s older years after the event, like as an adult trying to find her way in the world without her father’s guidance and the family like all died for some reason, idk.

I would want a sequel to be super different. That way the first can still be a stand alone in a way. Have the sequel be more of a war movie using the context of the first movie.

    I dunno.

Maybe it could be like the Metro 2033 series of book and games showing the people who live underground and their fight for survival in a urban area like NYC.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it played out like The Purge since the first movie focused on a single family and the sequels was more broad

I've heard a lot of great things about this but I'm pretty horror adverse, is this jump scary or more of a thriller for wusses like me?

I am terrible with horror movies but I honestly didn't find this scary at all. Barely even jumped at any point honestly. It's great though
