I almost got in a fist fight with a couple Yankees fans in 09 at game 5 in Philly at the world series. The one dude made a nasty sexual gester toward my order sister and I completely lost my shit

You know what's funny ? The one guy had a Steelers hat on as well, the other had a USC hat on while they both had Yankees shirts on. I'm not one to call bullshit on anyone's fandom but that to me just called bullshit.

 

I feel like a hypocrite for saying Fuck the USC now since I'm all on that #NotMyChampions train but Fuck the USC. The Steelers are fine. We got good Steelers here. Can't hate them.

I've seen the Jags choke them out 20-6 in Philly and all the fans around us were polite. Granted I wasn't gonna risk it and be a dick in Philly's stadium lol. (I'm also not really an obnoxious fan IRL, I'm sure you'd think I am from these boards lol. I cheer but I don't brag / shit talk, and I tend to give the other team credit when they make plays. Except against the Titans.)

I mean as long as you don't get belligerently drunk and start heckling, you should be fine.

Best part was when the kid behind us asked "why can Fred Taylor run but Westbrook can't?" That was some nice away-game quiet pride.

 

The only times I’ve talked shit to opposing fans was any time Hurricanes played the Sabres (because their fans suck ass) and once for a Saints game. Other than that I mind my own business and try not to be an asshole.

 

I went to a Yankees game once in head to toe Sox gear and no one bothered me. It bummed me out. We shared mutual disdain for the Jets.

 

I’ve had nothing but unpleasant experiences with Vikings fans

 

Steelers, Patriots and Saints fans are the worst

 

I went to the Pats Panthers Monday night game a few years ago in Charlotte and two Pats fans in front of me got in a fight. It was weird.

Bills fans are the worst in my mind

 

Bills fans aren't even the worst in the division. They're last in fact. They live in BUFFALO. Their lives are terrible. They're allowed to be upset.

 

They all move to Charlotte/Raleigh and bother me at games.

That’s so true. I’ll go to a Sox, Bruins or Pats game any day. No chance am I schlepping all the way to Foxboro to sit a mile away in the cold.

 

That's true, Charlotte has an absurd amount of Buffalo fans.

 

Last year at the Bills game they were everywhere. And they all had on jorts.

 

Other than signing their dumb song all game Bills fans weren’t bad. But whenever the Buffaloians show up for Canes/Sabres games they’re insufferable. I don’t know why. I think they’re still bitter about the ECF forever ago.

Yeah, i went to school in NW PA, so, similar weather + lack of shit to do will drive you crazy. You either learn to drink and do reckless shit and you get the hell out.
