It's all so worth it. One of, if not, the best shows ever

 

My favorite shows of all time are The Sopranos and Mad Men (and Twin Peaks- nice avatar btw!!), and I always see those on top tv shows of all time lists, but somehow The Wire always tops them. Pretty pumped to find out why.

 

Haha those are literally my 4 favorite shows by a wide margin, so I'm sure you will like it

 

About to finish my re watch as a matter of fact. Bubbles arc in s4 is so tragic.

 

You ever check out The Leftovers and Rectify? You might be into those shows-- both are fairly short and are barely shy of reaching this tier of magnificent television.

 

I've been meaning to for a long time, haven't gotten around to it yet. Definitely in my plans

I'm watching this for the third time, still incredible. I worked in Baltimore for about a month, in the areas that a lot of this was filmed in. Was pretty interesting being a huge fan of the show and seeing the rows upon rows of vacant houses, and hearing people argue inside them...

I can't decide which season is my favorite, I lean towards saying 4 is, but 3 is close. I think the 5th season is my least favorite though.

 

4th is the best by far and 5th worst by far imo, currently on s4 of my first rewatch

Started my rewatch last night. First time in probably five years or so I've watched an episode.

Only bad parts of this show to me are the dated technology (but it is hilarious to watch and see the perplexity on faces as they talk about it) and the theme song. I've always hated the theme song, never seemed to fit with the show.

 

I'm almost through my rewatch of Curb and I'm probably going to do this again.

Also forgot how damn sad season 4 is like damn

 

Just finished season one. Really great stuff and excited to keep going

 

Season 2 is very different from the rest of the show, but just as integral. I know it's not a lot of people's favorite but I remember loving it on my first watch

 

Just started season 4. Prez on his first day as a teacher makes me cringe.

 

You do not know how real it is. It was even more painful for me.
