Eh I honestly think Mitchell is just goofing around. I don’t think he cares too much. I think Snyder has drilled into him that stuff like that is fairly meaningless in the grand scheme. I do think Mitchell is just kinda goofily responding to how big of a dick Simmons has been about it. But then again I’m a hardcore homer so I’m biased.


I can’t believe i missed the game tonight though. I went to A Quiet Place again. Also I’m gonna be in Italy for the whole first round.... I’ve never been more conflicted about going on vacation in my life.

What a good story that is for Andre Ingram.

 

@ncarrab currently thinking about the most plausible scenarios on how this drama about Tristan cheating on Khloe could potentially get him out of the rotation.

What’s the most likely?

1. Lebron as a faithful family man and activist takes a stand and refuses to play until Tristan is kicked off the team
2. Khloe and his other baby mama he left for Khloe become friends and buys front row seats to every game to heckle him and Tristan ends up breaking down crying and leaving never to be heard from again
3. Tristan pulls a classic rom-com move like in American Pie or A Cinderella Story and leaves the most important play of the big game to try to win Khloe back
4. Tristan finally realizes he sucks at basketball and pursues his true passion of pick up artistry.
5. Same scenario as 4 but instead he ironically starts a business helping people who have recently gotten cheated on recover called “Rebounding”.

 

I wish the answer was just as simple as our coach being smart enough to recognize that he sucks at basketball.

 

I wouldn’t even mind if we didn’t play zizic and just didn’t play Tristan. Fuck we already have 11 other people deserving of playing time which is too many to begin with

 

My guess is the playoff rotation will be:

Hill, Hood, LBJ, Green, Love

Bench: JR, Nance, Korver, Clarkson, Jose (with Clarkson and Nance being on a short leash). My guess is either JR or Korver will ultimately see more minutes than Hood in most games too, despite him starting.

I was actually encouraged that Tristan only played 9 minutes at NY the other night while Nance got 18 minutes.

 

Agreed although idk how lue thought that line up with nance and Tristan was a good idea.

Hood is going to need to find a new level in order for us to have a chance at a chip because he definitely has the potential to average 20. I love his shot selection, he just needs to be consistent with his 3.

 

I think Hood is still figuring out his role and where he fits exactly, especially with LeBron. Nance and Clarkson, based on the skillsets have easier to define roles. And being out with injuries hasn't helped him. I think we were hoping he would be more plug and play (out of necessity), but in reality I think his progression has been fine. Assuming LeBron returns next year, I think he will be more comfortable.

 

Really curious to see what kind of offers Hood will get this summer. With him being restricted, we will likely retain him. He's injured quite a bit, so I wonder if that will impact his free agency at all. My guess is it won't and some team will probably make an absurd offer but Cavs will have to match because they cannot go out and sign anyone else to replace him.

 

Yeah, I don't really envision a scenario right now where he doesn't return. A lot can change certainly.

 

giannis and delly back tonight, confirmed W. hopefully cleveland loses to the knicks so we keep philly. idk how cleveland/philly tiebreaker would fall.

all the nba website says it will be released at the conclusion of all the games tonight.
