Set times

'Set Times | Coachella 2018'

 

I have made no plans this weekend so I can stream Coachella every night. Happy with this decision.

 

MØ > Tyler > HAIM > Bey on Saturday is a real good run at the Coachella stage. Pretty excited about standing in the same spot for 6 hours. haha. ha.

 

Pretty content overall!!! My only problem is Brockhampton/Borns/Mo

 

Only real conflict is that I want to see Bleachers and my girlfriend wants to see The Neighborhood. I think I already lost this one

 

I'm going to Bleachers and she's goin to LEON, it's OK to split up for a little!!!!!!!!

 

Bleachers should be wild. can't wait.
I'm pretty surprised at how well the schedule worked out.
my biggest complaint is Cardi's only playing 35 minutes...

 

If I were going, my weekend would look like:

Friday: Moses Sumney > Daniel Caesar > Vince Staples > St. Vincent > SZA >Jamiroquai

Saturday: First Aid Kit > Brockhampton > Tash Sultana > Haim > Beyonce

Sunday: Japanese Breakfast > Cardi B > Portugal the Man > Miguel > A Perfect Circle > Eminem

 

new album + not enough time to reherse?
booked so long ago that she only got paid for 30 minutes?
pregnant + hot sun = badbad?

 

I mean I definitely get why she's only playing a half hour set. just being selfish! sry.
I'm glad she didn't cancel!

 

Only real conflicts I see are:

Lany vs. Japanese Breakfast
Cardi B vs. Jesse Ware
Chic vs. First Aid Kit
Daniel Caesar vs. Bleachers

Also really surprised that Migos and Post Malone aren't on the main stage. Is the Sahara able to accommodate a really large crowd?

Sahara is fucking huge

 

I do find it peculiar that her set is the shortest of anyone on that stage. The sets right before and after her are 45 minutes and 55 minutes.

 

jbrekky and snail mail have the same fanbase so it's fucking stupid that they overlap

So jealous they moved the Sahara that far away this year. Wish it was like that other years so I could easily avoid it.

 

When they booked Cardi B over 8 months ago she only had 1 song out. The plan was probably to have her early in the day on a side stage. She also came out and said they booked her for a low price (70k). I bet after her popularity shot up and Coachella tried to renegotiate her contract for a longer set time, they couldn't match what she was asking for. Just speculating.

 

The streaming schedule is up......strongly considering staying up till 3am to watch the Jamariquai set.

Also, the Sunday streaming schedule is severely lacking a big name. They should really add Eminem or Cardi to it.

This might sound dumb, but are the streaming times adjusted to your time zone? Or does The Weeknd actually go on at 2:25 am PST?

 

I hope some of ya'll are catching X Japan! One of the best bands I've ever seen live.

Also, one of my favorite things to do is watch subreddits and forums for festivals that I will probably never go to to see the excitement, and Coachella is definitely one of the most entertaining. Seeing people freak over conflicts between bands I have never heard of is really eye-opening.
