I'm excited for Preacher tonight. And the Billboard Awards. And Veep/Silicon Valley. There's an overwhelming amount of stuff on.

 

Preacher has been getting a lot of praise. I haven't read the book because of the horrific art, but I'm looking forward to the show.

 

So yesterday, at Pointfest (radio show I was talking about), I ran into my first girlfriend with her new BF. It was cool, a little small talk and I didn't see her for the rest of the day after we parted. Flash forward to near the end of Coheed's set, I get a FB message from her telling me that I looked great. Thinking nothing of it, I thank her for the compliment. That's when it was quickly revealed after I sent that message that she got dumped by her new BF, for whatever reason, and that she was both drunk and wanting to hang out, all with the clear ulterior motive of rebounding/maybe getting back at the dude. My response to this as I read it was something like this:

Nothing against her and I do feel bad for her that she got treated like she did but there was no way I was going to get involved in that.

 

I'm conflicted. I definitely want to watch the BBMAs and dvr Preacher. This'll make me 2 episodes behind in FTWD which I'll dvr, too. It's annoying AF when you have too many things to watch on the same day.

 

Can't wait to see the Kesha performance tomorrow.

 

Def gotta watch Preacher, all the buzz has me excited and curious.

 

I'll probably be flipping between Billboard and Thunder/Spurs

 

God damn there is a lot of tv tonight. Pens game starts soon too.

 

Seriously! I'm gonna watch BBMA since awards shows are way better live and DVR Preacher. Then probably watch the HBO shows tomorrow morning on HBO Go.

 

I'll just watch the BBMAs highlights (Britney and Kesha duh) tomorrow award shows are so boring

 

I'm watching Game of Thrones now. Good shit so far.

I live for awards shows!

 

I love awards shows, and I love the red carpet specials beforehand even more.

 

I used to be all about watching the Oscars when I was younger, now I just watch highlights.

Don't care about award shows besides red carpets

 

Ive been trying to articulate why I watch them and the best I could come up with is because I love to hate them. Damn, what a cop out answer lol

 

I've become really conscious of my Like:Post ratio, like this is when I was 12 playing Call of Duty determined to get a kill death ratio above 1. I should probably post less haha

 

The whole incident of the San Diego Gay Men's Choir at the Padres game is such a freaking bummer.

 

Hadn't heard about that before this post, super sad. Feel really bad for those guys

 

Should have just switched it to today since it's Harvey Milk Day or so a certin Hub told me.
