Anybody you want the Cavs to face first? I think Drew has made a pretty strong case for the Bucks. Wizards I feel are more dangerous than the Heat but that last game against them in Miami and their defense got me a little apprehensive about them.

 

I don't think it'll ultimately matter. I see the Cavs winning any 1st round series in 5 games or less. Honestly the Pacers probably want to face us, especially Lance, but I don't see them winning more than 1 game against us. Miami scares me a little bit, just because we haven't won in Miami in like, 6 seasons, but come playoff time, I don't think it'd be that big of an issue. The Wizards would be tough, but again, not win more than 1 game tough.

 

Im scared because I always remind myself that well have Super Saiyan Playoff-Mode Lebron, which totally changes everything, but I feel like LeBron has already kind of been in that mode since K-Love went out. Other than defense, I basically cant imagine him playing even better than he has been and there wont be as dramatic shift and well still have the same problems.

 

I want the bucks. I need the meltdowns when they lose to the Kyrie-less Celtics

 

True, but we are 11-3 in our last 14 games, so it's not like LeBron made the shift and we're losing. The games we have lost in that span were to Philly without a point guard, to Miami without Love and to Portland without Love, Nance, Tristan (essentially, no big man at all).

Also, OFFENSIVELY he's been in playoff mode. Defensively, he has not even been close. They can still play much, much better defensively once the playoffs start. LeBron included.

I feel pretty good about our playoff run. I still don't see any East series going more than 6 games.

 

It’s wild that MIA or WASH are going to win their division but be a 6th or 7th seed. No more incentive to win the division.

 

It's crazy to see how the playoffs matchups in the East can change so much over the next couple of days. I'll be in Drew mode on Wednesday since, if the Cavs can beat the Knicks twice in-a-row, they win the tiebreak over the 76ers. (i.e. needing the Bucks to beat 76ers)

 

I got bored at work and all my mind wanted to think about was that there is an Earth where Detroit drafted Mitchell and the Jazz got stuck with Luke Kennard.

Talk about a dramatic change of fortunes.

 

Or how about the Nuggets drafting Mitchell then trading him for Trey Lyles and Tyler Lydon

 

The Pistons don't do smart stuff, I don't see that

 

I'm not sure if it would even work but it's fun to imagine Harris, Mitchell, and Murray on the court together

 

i guess joe ingles is kinda good at basketball...now top 25 in tpa

 

I'm good with the Cavs getting the 3rd or 4th seed. It's not like the Cavs are afraid of Toronto (who are 1-9 in their last 10 games at The Q) should they finish 4th. And honestly, I like the Pacers match-up more than the Heat, Wiz or Bucks.

Only reason I would like the 3rd seed is in the off chance Boston loses Round 1 and the Cavs could get HCA for the 2nd round too. But ultimately, I don't think it really matters.

 

Oladipo beating Lebron somehow, and PG losing in the first round/missing the playoffs, would be so satisfying.

Yeah. Agree with all of that. I’d like to see LeBron get the 3rd because he’s never been to the playoffs as a 3-seed. haha

I know they’re in a much tougher conference, but it’s already sad enough that the Pacers have a better record.

 

Olympic Melo is still good at basketball. It's all the other Melo's that suck.
