    On the non-metal and hardcore side of my listening habits over the last couple days: The new Hop Along record is pretty dope. I'm also surprised at how much I enjoy the new Fickle Friends record.

    I just bought tickets to see Fickle Friends at pretty much the smallest/bestest venue in Salt Lake City, so I'm pretty stoked.

    I still need to listen to Hop Along, and Wye Oak. That Fickle Friends record is quite enjoyable, but it's too long.

    I miiiight get tickets to the Chicago show on this run, but it'll probably sell out by the time I know for sure that I can make the concert. They announced the dates for their fall run fairly earlier.

    Yeah. If they cut it down to a solid 10-12 songs, it'd be a much better record. Some of the songs work incredibly well on their own tour so those tracks will probably seep into my playlists for the rest of the year. Glue and Bite are fun.
