was hoping they'd have some so I could preorder just before the album dropped (for various reasons I've been unable to for a bit) but they're sold out of their allocation unfortunately

 

@nicksteinborn Any chance you'll have some of the bookset Sister Cities LPs on tour with you? Because I could pick one up in Dublin and that would honestly be easier than anything else at this stage!

 

Not connecting with this as hard as I had hoped. Might need more time or a different time. That TROW album has been completely dominating my listening time.

 

Lots of great lyrics here but I think my favorite right now is “You were the rifle on the wall / and it was always going to end like this” in Heaven’s Gate

Just got the email that my preorder shipped!! Hope it gets here before Friday.

 

Really digging a lot of the melodies throughout this. Has Dan done the falsetto in any other songs like he does in Flowers?

 

This is all I've listened to today, and it feels like each time I think a different song is my favorite. Right now I'm super, super into Flowers Where Your Face Should Be. This album is fucking fantastic

Ending of Everything I Own Fits In This Backpack is kinda falsetto. He might be mixing his chest and head voice in that. Also, it's all over the Aaron West stuff.

 

Was the remixed/remastered version of GSOI! ever made available in FLAC? It's not on the No Sleep Records Bandcamp, which is weird as they definitely had it on there at some point.

 

I really wish this was having the same impact on me as it is with all of you. I'm just not feeling any of it so far. Their other records hit me almost instantaneously, that's not the case with this one. I'm hoping it's a grower.
