Also I’ve only listened to a handful of Chain Gang tracks and it never clicked but now it most definitely is. It’s like rediscovering an artist.

Glad to have bumped this thread. Album deserves to be talked about more on here. They pull off this sound so well. Perfect blend of alt rock and shoegaze.

I pre-ordered it when I heard “Dweeb” since I’m a sucker for anything remotely grunge sounding and I’m glad I did. Sounds great.

Also ordering Chain Gang’s Daydream Forever on vinyl at SRC now.

 

My new avatar is the cover of their ep dazed so ya its safe to say im into this band lately. Wish i was catching them on the PBTT tour.

Was going to see them on that tour here in SF but I think I’m going to hold off for July when they’re back with Citizen and Oso Oso (!!!) now.

 

Oh fuck i wish i was seeing them with Citizen. I love Ciz and seeing them in May but not with Teenage Wrist :(

 

I been meaning to see Citizen and Oso Oso for a minute now so this is a perfect tour for me.

Oh and “Daylight” is maybe my new favorite song off Chrome Neon Jesus.

 

When im seeing Ciz its with angel dust, oso oso and pronouns i think

 

Will be my third time seeing them already. Definitely a bummer that Teenage Wrist isn't on the bill tho. Would love to see them live now.

I wanted the blue variant so bad but that was only available in the UK when I preordered so I ended up with the yellow variant instead.

 

Im looking for it now so its only in the UK store?

How does your yellow sound? I’m pretty disappointed in the quality, but it might just be current setup.

 

I’m halfway through and I like it. Not winning any points for originality but the choruses are really strong. Vocals remind me of Taylor from Superheaven, and the music sounds like a more mid-tempo My Vitriol
