because we never saw Lesnar? Well both of the women are full-time. because Roman and Brock spent the year circling each other? In this case they'd be on different brands. because it's boring waiting for the match to happen? okay, well thats true. But I don't remember too many people complaining when CM Punk held a belt for over a year and rock announced eight months in advance that he was winning the title. Basically, I think depends on the performers. Some can make it work and some... cant.

I think it's on the writing and booking to keep it interesting, like most things in wrestling. At least enough to keep fans guessing. I've learned in the past week to never doubt people's capacity for crazy and/or dumb theories lol.

I mean, again, I think there's exactly a 0% chance the streak ends anywhere but Mania. Even WCW, in all its stupidity, ended the streak at starrcade. You just don't spend four years building something and not make it a part of your biggest night of the year.

I think Ronda spends the summer feuding with some losers. Speaking of losers, it could easily be absolution. it's not like the two of them can work either, so there won't be any expectations. Just two minutes of them getting destroyed.

Then, probably around Survivor Series, she needs to have her one big feud before the rumble. I'm guessing it's Sasha, because she's the only heel on the roster that they would trust (and it helps that shes the best worker they've got).

That's fair, and I think I even agree with you. more often than not it will be a negative. But streaks to me are almost always about the payoff, not the journey. yeah it might make the product on Smackdown a little worse for a while, but if the mania moment delivers, nobody is going to care
