Opening sequence is quite intense haha

 

I don't know, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. All I've noticed was some outlets like Slate, Polygon and Kotaku being upset Ubi didn't make the antagonist's better stand ins for altright/trump supporters.

 

Far Cry 5 is such stupid fun and I love it

I was miffed there was no minimap at first but I’ve grown to like the navigation system.

Yeah I think overall getting rid of the minimap was a great idea.

 

Put in 2 hours so far. Really diggin it! The opening church/helicopter sequence was amazing.

 

Last night I had Far Cry 5 installing, Sea of Thieves updating and Battlefront 2 waiting patiently in the queue.

I still have to finish Fallout 4 and Sniper Elite 4, also playing Rime and Super Lucky's Tale with my son.

*weeps*

 

I've had Siege installing all day, and all of last night too. Next time I don't think I'll uninstall it when I get mad at it... 32gb update with slow internet is no good.

 

DQXI comes to the west September 4th, on PS4 and Steam. Switch version will be out "much later" and the 3DS version isn't making it over. It has a bunch of improvements from the original release - including added English voice acting (the Japanese had no voices at all), a hard mode and redone UI and menus.

 

I think I'm going to pick up Far Cry on the way home from work today, hopefully get through most of it by the weekend.

 

Sea of Thieves seems to be doing extremely well for MS and Rare. Glad to see it

I'll probably get the PS4 version then if the Switch version will take forever. I'm sad about them not releasing the 3DS version, I really wanted to play the pixel art version. Kind of a dick move after the DS family has kept their franchise alive for so long.

 

The Crash cameo in Uncharted 4 almost made me cry lmao

Also.. just got to Madagascar and it's breathtaking

 

Yup! You should try the spin-off game after you beat it.

 

Uncharted 4 is honestly a masterpiece.

 

That chase through the streets where you’re trying to rescue your brother is probably the most incredible set piece I’ve ever seen in a video game. It’s better than most movies.

 

Alright so I’m off today before a six day swing at work that leads right into my final term. Do I buy and play all day Ni No Kuni 2 or Far Cry 5?

 

The pacing is quite a bit slower than the previous games but I appreciate that. I get so excited every time a new cut scene starts.

Gun play and stealth is also significantly improved I think.

 

Got so insanely addicted to stardew that my wrist tendonitis flared up again and i gotta take a good long break haha.

It’s not an issue if I play for a half hour or hour tops but it’s the marathon sessions that do it. And once i start stardew I cant put it down.

 

Saw Walmart had Battlefront 2 for $19.99 so I picked it up. Hope it is genuinely better since they updated it and got rid of the microtransactions.
