ni no kuni just got my money instead, le sigh. i don't have enough time to game to spend it grinding through padding.

 

I just actually managed to get a refund out of Sony USA. Had to be on the phone for about an hour and pull the whole "demand to see a supervisor" thing. Also had to pull the "I've been a loyal customer since the original Playstation and a PS+ member continually since the service launched" card. They also said this is the one and only time they're going to do this for my account haha. Oh well, at least I'm getting my money back. Ubi doesn't get to pull this kind of shady crap, hide it until the day before launch, and get my money, no sir.

Now I'll have that money in my PS wallet for the next game I want, which is good.

 

Also if you're in the EU you don't have to do anything other than call and request a refund as long as you haven't pre-loaded it yet. The consumer protection laws there require a refund; in the US they don't, so Sony can pull the "all sales are final" bullshit.

 

Far Cry 5 looks like a solid enough game. In fact, it looks better than 3, 4, and Primal. But honestly, that series lost itself after the developers decided that Far Cry 2 wasn't worth building upon and took out everything that made it such an immersive experience.

 

Still haven't finished AC Origins. :P

I was all hyped because I thought I was done with collectibles in sunset overdrive.

I missed like 3 more collectible categories and now I'm sad.

Did anyone else ever play Total Annihilation? I wonder if it still holds up.

 

Does Arkham Knight hold up against Asylum/City? Never played it but I've been pining for those games and see it's currently on sale on psn.

 

It’s the worst of the three, easily. Not to say it’s a bad game, necessarily, but he prepared to spend a lot of time in that Batmobile. I didn’t end up finishing it. How much is it on sale for?

 

£11 or something. It's the batmobile stuff that's making me wary.

 

If I remember correctly, the first thing you do in the game is an extensive batmobile sequence lol

 

Well dang. I'm watching some on twitch right now, it looks pretty fun. Eh, I'll see how I feel in a couple of days.

 

Play it, it's a great ending to the series

 

I was doing an insane race in Burnout while Superlove by Tinashe was playing and it was magical

 

Arkham Knight is great and the Batmobile sections are a lot of fun

 

Batmobile is meh but IMO not enough to bring the game down. Love playing as the BvS suit.

 

Got through the first 5 chapters of Uncharted 4 last night. Unsurprisingly great so far.

The microtransaction outrage in fc5 is overblown. I've only played 30 mins, and I have $4500 lol. That's half the cost of the most expensive weapon. I've hunted one wolf and its skin netted me near $300. Easy as hell to get $.

 

How are you digging it so far? Always into the series, on the fence about picking it up.

 

Really liking it so far! Exploration is much better than other games. No minimap, which adds to the immersion. Your followers, 'guns for hire' are pretty useful. If you liked previous FC games, go for it!

 

Whoa, no mini map? That sounds insane, but also pretty sweet at the same time.
