It's sex on the beach. The name and chorus comes from a non English speaker who thought the saying was translated to cake by the ocean rather than sex on the beach and the band thought it was a humorous take on it.

 

Lol i thoroughly do not enjoy listening to her rap. Her voice is grating to my ears and I've never been a big fan of them musically. I'd read her lyrics in a book or something, she clearly has writing skill I just don't think her music is good.

 

I've angered @cshadows2887 for years with this opinion.

 

That DNCE song sounds like a dancier version of that One Republic song that's also bad or maybe they're just both bad songs.

 

I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I like the new Explosions in the Sky album

 

It's becoming clearer now.

 

Yeah Dessa is whack as hell.

 

Is it much different of a sound? I've always thought their releases always sound too similar. Same with God is an Astronaut.

 

It's really great, took me by surprise. Can't wait for the new Russian Circles, that trailer got me all kinds of excited.

 

If I have listened to a Dessa solo song I do not remember it

Doomtree is cool I don't go out of my way to listen to them though they're just kinda there

 

God Is An Astronaut is gorgeous music. New EITS is so good. Currently on a huge Caspian kick when I'm in that genre because of the Underoath tour.

Saw them live pretty recently and loved every minute of it. The stuff that drummer does never ceases to amaze me.
