that's actually one of my lesser favorites of hers tbh

It feels like they don't know what to do with the sequencing

I'm definitely due for a revisit though, and there are several stellar songs on it

revolution is def too long and poorly sequenced. platinum is a much better execution of the same idea

i'm starting to think her best record is weight of these wings

Weight gets my vote. There’s astonishingly little filler for a double album.

 

I just realized Happy Hour is kind of a reverse Joanne, I guess it hinges on the rest of the album, this is a compliment I swear

on Space Cowboy. This is way more toned down than I was expecting, but I still love it so far.

EDIT: and then Happy & Sad came on. Fantastic.

EDIT 2: and Wonder Woman? Get out of here, this is fantastic. Only complaint is that they should've mixed up the softer songs with the ones with more of a full band sound more.

 

Had my first listen to this on a long sunrise run along the water. That was just about flawless. Love at first listen, for sure.

The whole album is great, but the run from Space Cowboy to High Horse is really something else.
