One of our great friends from high school lives in Portland. We played some crazy garage shows at his house with like 250+ audiences. I have never been to Portland and miss him a ton. We talk on the phone every once in a while, but there is nothing like seeing friends face to face and playing in a city with that much of a music pedigree.

Hey everyone. I got to Reading through this thread, I am so humbled by the way you've embraced our album. I was super excited about recording it, but I wasn't sure how it would be accepted. @teebs41 and I were talking about how burnt out our ears were by the time we finished. I honestly couldn't tell if people would love it or hate it. I really appreciate this community and all you do to propel and sustain artists.

 

Sorry.. Didn't finish sentence 2... I got to get some school work done. In school, working full time, doing this awesome music stuff, and have SOO much to get done.

 

@KBIZ what are your thoughts on Canada and have you visited before? If so where exactly?

Ha... Ok... one last one. Canada is awesome... I've only gone to Niagara Falls and had a plane redirected to Calgary to sit on the tarmac until we could take off again... super cool experience time 1... kind of annoying time 2 because the Calgary runway was too short and we had to circle to burn off enough gas to land. Sorry... rambling. Everyone I know from Canada I have liked and I agree with a lot of stuff they do as a country, but honestly don't have a big enough sample size to give a more informed answer than that.

@KBIZ some ppl on Chorus have given me the nickname ColinTheRecommender. I saw earlier you mentioned being into Bon Iver lately. Have you heard the new S. Carey record? He is actually Bon Iver's drummer. I recommend it. Also you should check out Novo Amor. Definitely RIYL Bon Iver as well.

Hey Mike, just want to say you're lyrics and vocal performance on this album are incredible. You totally killed it. Loved the track-by-track you did. It made songs I already loved such as Two Anchors even more special.

 

@OoSVox I second what Skurt said. Top notch, your vocals and lyrics were a huge stand out for me
