The whole bonus track thing is something I never liked. I am one of those people who only listens to whole records.I hate listening to random songs in random order. Shuffle play is the bane of my existence haha.

So the concept of bonus tracks really screws me up!

 

That hair flip was the perfect way to play that off! Haha

I loved the way she handled getting stuck.

 

me too. but if i like an artist, i also want as many songs as possible! but i definitely want to hear the album as the artist intends it to be listened to.

 

yeah I know , it just always bugged me that they always compared Britney and Christina Aguilera when they're so different

 

Yeah, that is the tension! It drives me nuts. I usually have to create an EP of the bonus songs or something to make it palatable to my idiosyncratic brain.

It is just one of those irrational things I can't seem to shake.

 

they came up at the exact same time. it was like comparing backstreet boys to nsync. i'm not "pitting women against each other." they just have similar shows, so that's why i compared them. i'm tired of people throwing the sexist accusations right off the bat assuming that that's what everyone is doing.

 

"Be Alright" is probably my favorite jam on this, mainly because of it's house-music vibe

 

First listen and I am on track 9 of 11. Still think my favorite song is "Into You" because of that damn beat. It just hits such a sweet spot for me.

the Max Martin tracks are definitely stand outs. I can't believe how crazy that guy is, and how he's stayed relevant for decades. it's nuts!

i've listened to this album probably 4 times since it leaked a couple days ago, but i haven't been able to really sit and focus on it and pick favorites/least favorites yet. it's mostly been background music at work. but i plan on listening to this a few times today, especially on my commute back home from work.

 

didn't mean to attack you or make you feel bad , it bugged me with nsync and backstreet boys too ,I just want everyone to get along like that girl in Mean Girls

 

Ok, album finished. Really impressive.

Onto the bonus tracks. "Bad Decisions" is pretty awesome so far.

the funniest thing about the rivalry between BSB and Nsync was that Max Martin wrote/produced the singles of both groups, haha. so the rivalry between them is really silly to me, in retrospect.

"Everyday" is so great. I love the "he give it to me!" part she does in the choruses.

 

Naw. You've gotten sexism accusations before because you've said sexist things in the past and I've def seen you randomly compare women when it has nothing to do with anything being discussed (and funnily enough, with Britney before). Maybe stop doing it and ppl will stop accusing? Idk the way you do it rubs me the wrong way sometimes. It's not like a natural comparison it's always weirdly thrown in there. Ok over and out

 

Ok, so the 4 bonus tracks were really good.

I thought I detected a hint of that "Style" guitar leading into the chorus of "Touch It" which was cool.

 

Christina's hair seems to defy gravity a lot

 

I love this. I don't think it's markedly better than My Everything. Pretty equivalent, but she managed to create a distinct mood/feel for this one, which is one of my favorite luxuries that pop stars have. This is definitely one of the best of the year currently.

 

Finishing first listen and I love this so much. I am in such a good mood now.

 

Album is great, probably going to be my favorite of hers. Greedy, Bad Decisions, and the Macy Gray song are early favorites for me.
