Have you seen the choreo Britney does? Taylor doesn't hold a candle to her. I'd say Beyoncé is the only person who rivals Britney when it comes to choreo.

What?! No. The 1989 tour was a spectacle, and she has such a balance of performing and singing. She's definitely not a dancer, but she used her environment to her advantage.

 

Ah, I am actually glad I saw this. I'm listening via Spotify and they include the bonus tracks. I would have thought this record was like 16 songs long. I'm happy that I know where the record properly ends now.

Sure. but if Britney just wants to focus just on choreography, then why even pretend to be singing live? just put the backing track on, and just dance your heart out, and maybe talk in between songs. there just isn't really a reason for her to even pretend to sing, you know? but that's just me... i'd still pay too much money to see Britney live, ha. But I'd definitely take T Sweezy over B Spurrs.

 

The truth is they're all pretty different with each owns strengths and weaknesses.

really all i'm saying is that her voice's natural power doesn't mean she isn't using autotune any less than anyone else in the industry. she's just using it in a different way because she can hit (or approach) notes that someone like taylor can't, and her voice has a more natural depth to it. there is 100% pitch correction happening on something like the title track, just by virtue of the kind of song it is.

 

I mean yeah, but I do think we're actually looking and analyzing them as artists and performers. At least I think we are..?

 

I'm not pitting them against each other just having a discussion on their performances and styles. Each one of them is fantastic in their own way.
