I wish I could find the post but I remember in 2011 Mark posted on Facebook about a TOYPAJ anniversary tour

 

Hold on -- I REALLY want this Mark-doing-magic-on-a-party-bus thing to happen. hahaha. I reached out to my buddy Derek DelGaudio to teach mark a closeup routine to perform on stage mid-show. Would be hilarious if that happened.

I’d be cool if they do the prec1999 shows some nights and surprised people with the California shows the other nights!

 

I want to hear a bunch of old songs, but I just don't care really to see Matt singing any of them. Plus, if he can't play the Carousel riff, how would he pull off a whole set full of fast riffs like that?

As fun as pre-1999 shows could be, I can’t honestly say I’m excited for anything new this band does lol. These aren’t exactly moves that creative, interesting artists are doing. Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, Against Me, they’re older punk-adjacent rock bands still making unique, solid records and pushing themselves. Blink’s current progression reminds me more of New Found Glory.

 

I know people will nitpick Matt on the old stuff but I enjoyed M&M's plenty when he did it. And at worst it's even next to Tom's not caring if he fucks up

 

Eh -- he'll ruin it. I would WANT tom but be 100% in and playing a fucking Strat if that happened but he won't and he won't. No thanks.

It will never fucking die... but I want that idea of Tom coming back to die so badly. The very notion should be taken out back, shot in the head, have its corpse burned to ashes, and then flushed down a toilet.

Tom does not care. Tom does not perform or write music well anymore. Fuck Tom.

As I’ve said other places, I want him to shut the fuck up and leave the world behind and live a peaceful life somewhere with his family. I don’t wish anything bad on him, I just want him away from blink and the public eye. It is so disturbing to see someone you looked up to in a weird way become such a fucking washed up loon.

I agree I wish the shows were from Buddha to TOYPAJ. Just so many good TOYPAJ songs I wish they played more of. ETILFY, Roller Coaster, Online Songs, Please Take Me Home. Hell, I'd love to hear Matt sing What Went Wrong.

 

Makes Me Sick is pretty awesome + NFG have the best shows from all pop/punk bands for sure...don't touch my guys

 

Speaking of Tom, it seems like he's been pretty quiet on social media for a few months now. I wonder why.

I think Mark and Tom were both at Disneyland at the same time a week or two ago, right? RUMOR MILLLLLL! (but really, I think they were both there on the same weekend)

 

My god, they’re doing an old school show(s?) and people are still complaining.

“They never change their set!”

Announces shows with a set that will literally be all “new” songs for their normal routine.

“That’s not how I would change it!”

I think he has a few book signings because a new book is coming out sometime. I'm just surprised he's not hyping that or getting people to invest in his To The Stars Academy again.

Yeah I think Mark was there one day last week and Tom the very next day. It seems like if you randomly go to Disneyland you're bound to run into either Mark or Travis. I feel like both of them are always there.
