Because Saiyans can transform into monkeys when there’s a full moon. The pronounced brow in the Super Saiyan three form is a reference to that aspect of their physiology. I don’t know if they’re drawing upon the power of the great ape form or what.

@Dominick i would imagine being a progressive PoC that is often fully immersed in the shittiness of the current state of things can be rather taxing from time-to-time, if money and time were no object what would you describe as your ideal escapism?

I’d spend my time traveling and reading/writing. And, since money is no object, I’d bring my family along with me.

My favorite thing about Baltimore is the radical community. My least favorite thing is the white gentrifiers.

I’d love to have lived in California during the height of the black power movement. We get glimpses of it now and then, but at that point on time, the feeling of rebellion was tangible and people were acting with a purpose that managed to transform reality.

I guess I would want to live this life I’ve lived over again. I often have dreams where death just leads to the eternal recurrence of the life you just lived. I like that idea because I love my family, my friends and the idea of being able to relive those moments over and over again, despite the pain, would be worth it.

When I realize I bought a pack a cigarettes the night before, so I don’t have to stop at the gas station where people play all the lottery numbers.

 

My god, reading this answer was enough to make me smile hahaha. I relate to that feeling so well (or discovering that you bought two/three packs on a whim so when one ran out another is still full).
