Well it's a small room show so it's not ALL their stuff. Probably no big production. A few amps/effects are nothing for an arena band.

Maybe they're already in town for a photoshoot/publicity event. Maybe they're recording an album.

They could easily rent the gear for one show.

I'm just disappointed at this point? The replies to the announcement tweet are all negative lmao

I really don't see this being just a one show

Movements announced they're opening for Moose Blood in Australia and after their fans told them about how sketchy Moose Blood are, Movements said they're going to make a statement about it tomorrow. I'm ~assuming~ they're going to drop off the tour.

I hope Movements drops off. For the love of god.

If Movements drops off of that, they will continue their gradual climb of becoming pretty alright in my book.

If Movements drops off the tour I might actually have to give Movements a shot

    Hey. Supporter

I am not familiar with how touring and shows work internally, so this may seem like a dumb question, but what other options do they have aside from dropping the tour now that they’ve released an initial statement addressing concerns?

I can’t see them being like hey all, we heard your concerns about us playing but we’re still going to play these shows anyways. That’d surely add more fuel to the fire.

Pretty much it's "we talked to them and they said it's untrue so we're doing the tour" or "we're dropping the tour."

Yeah, I'm assuming it will be "Hey, we don't know if Moose Blood are innocent or not but in the interest of making sure our fans feel safe at our shows we are dropping off this tour. If you want to see them make sure to check them out."

i don't know everything about touring but no way movements didn't know about the allegations. i don't know why everyone's suddenly praising them for *probably dropping off the tour. if they didn't want to tour with moose blood they wouldn't have joined in the first place.....

  18. Yeah this. It’s cool if they wanna do the right thing and drop but there’s a 0% chance they didn’t know in the first place.

They mentioned in that tweet they didn't know the extent of it, which I don't think is unfair to assume. Hell, I see Moose Blood fans bringing it up every day saying things like, "But I thought they kicked their drummer out?" and then people tell them about the thing with Eddy, which was its own thing.

i agree with what you're saying. it just seems like since they talk with other bands most likely and pretty much everyone still hates moose blood they would've been more careful announcing a tour with them

I refuse to believe they didn’t know.

I don't know, I guess I just feel like it's odd they'd even go to the trouble of saying "we've heard what you're saying, we're talking it over, we'll have a statement" if they were fully aware of the entire incident and had already known both sides.

I just give them a little credit for, at the very least, addressing it, unlike Lydia and McCafferty, who are touring with them as we speak.

This is what I'm saying. If they did know, why would they go through all that trouble knowing so many people would be against it?

The fact of the matter is that for the bands themselves, these other band members are seen as friends and colleagues as opposed to simple public figures.

It's like when you hear about shitty guys at school or at work. That doesn't mean you're gonna be rude or call them out cause it's in your interest to keep peace.

They probably know way more about these situations than any of us ever will, but they also don't know if any of it is true or bullshit too.

Did they know? Probably, but they didn't know that the fans saw it as credible, which is the same thing as it being credible for the most part.
