Alright, now hear me out here: For future iterations of Warped, I propose...

Warped Tour: Four Corners - The basic Warped Tour set up in 4 corners of the continental US: Washington, Maine, Florida, and (southern) California! I know there’s not much of a market in Maine, but I think it’d be a cool one off idea.

I think he said it would stay a tour in North America, your idea is more of a collection of fests with the same branding (Like Self-Help).

I honestly think there'll be 2-3 tours that are something like 3-5 days each in the future. Guessing it'll be New England and California, but I'm just guessing

 

Idrc what happens to Warped in the future cause it'll probably be at least 5 hours away from Minneapolis anyways

 

The Midwest would absolutely hate this idea. Not that I'm from there, but I would absolutely hate to be from, let's say Chicago. I think what's going to be more likely is a destination fest type thing on LA, Chicago, NYC, maybe somewhere on south Florida, somewhere in Texas.

 

True. Heavier music always does well in rural areas and b-markets, and while pop-punk isn't necessarily big in the midwestern A-markets, it has enough roots in Chicago for it to be absurd for any "Scene" tour to skip that market.

 

Whatever Warped does, I hope its in New England

I feel like it'll try to avoid direct competition with Self-Help

I doubt they'll do Chicago, they have enough events as it is

Maybe Cleveland then?

 

I'm almost positive Pomona, CA will be one of the destination spots.

 

Maybe Indianapolis, we are the only major city without any kind of festival.

 

Anyone think Hail The Sun will get added to the full tour? I know they posted they are on till 07/08 and so did the Warped website but Alterative Press everytime they post what bands are playing what dates they have them listed on the full tour

 

Assuming this little fantasy of mine becomes some version of reality, my most likely candidates would be...

- Pomona, CA
- Auburn, WA
- Long Island, NY
- West Palm Beach, FL

 

Aren’t they on a tour right now? I could see them getting added after it passes through.

 

Yea they are on tour with Circa Survive. I would love it if they got added to the full tour

 

I'd love to see Hail the Sun again.

 

They're skipping the NW (Seattle & Portland) on this last tour cause they didn't sell well enough and it wasn't worth the drive. I highly doubt they'd make seattle one of the main four places compared to somewhere in the midwest.

 

As a future Maine resident, I approve of this idea!

 

I could definitely see a Texas date, though I doubt it'd be Austin (as much as I would love that)

 

You guys have the new Impact Festival which has a half decent lineup. I've been to Rise Above Fest (the old name of it) and it was a lot of fun.

 

Pretty much all my priorities made the top 15. Sweet.

 

I Set My Friends On Fire are off most of the dates except for possibly the first leg

Does anyone know how they are booking these bands? Or does anyone even recognize bands for their date? I don't recognize any bands from my date, Long island (7/28). They all appear to be apart of more of the brooklyn indie/punk scene, rather than the local pop punk / metalcore / scenecore bands that you would usually see on warped. I feel like I know the pop punk scene on long island pretty damn well, and even some band from across the nyc metro area but were not getting any of those bands.
