They can't ever seem to decide on when this rebuild actually starts to "count" and when good players are worth becoming franchise players

 

True, though I get it from the Colts perspective. Now you have 6 weeks to game out scenarios with those picks, and you dont reach in free agency knowing you are getting 3-4 more guys via the draft. Also, you can make trades for players before the draft knowing you have those picks.

But for the Jets...no idea what they are thinking. Especially since they signed two QBs already. I know the Eagles did it a few years back; but neither of those two QBs they signed actually played snaps for them, and it was pure dumb luck that Bradford brought them value

 

Yeah idk. Unless Suh is in the cards (which would be a weird signing), I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just play him next year and see if he adjusts. I don’t think you’re getting 2 better players in the draft/free agency this year and cap space definitely isn’t an issue, so it’s not like it stunts development of prospects or anything to hold him.

 

Maybe they’re aiming for Barkley and want to push the other teams into taking QBs ahead of them. And they didn’t think he’d last to their pick. Who knows

Don’t know that the hell the Jets are doing. That being said, I will change my prediction for them this season from 16-0, to 15-1

 

Our depth will be fine we have people in the building who can coach. I just didn't want to have any weak position groups because we didnt have to if we played our cards right. Instead WR is very weak right now and that's not a good position to lack considering QB is already barely serviceable

 

I mean, Hayden isn't very good and there's no one after him and Myrick. And we have no SLB atm

 

I understand being worried now but I don't think the Jags' issue is finding part time role players. They seem to be pretty good at that.
