The historical trade is Was -> STL for #6 to #2, and that was 2 future 1sts and a 2nd. So, in that sense, the Jets trade isnt the worst. But man is it bad, especially not knowing what QB they'll get.

Gotta imagine the Giants would have made a very similar deal

 

If the Giants don't want a QB, I could see them garnering trade offers and utilizing it to get the Broncos to give up the most they can. Most say Barkley in trade offers, but I think Gettleman would love Nelson at 5 too.

 

I wonder if the Colts trade 6 to Buffalo, depending on how the Browns and Giants draft/trade

 

Bills may not even be able to get a QB at 6, unless they use it to get to #2.

I mean Bortles is already becoming a better QB than Bortles and hes only getting 8 mill per season guaranteed. Could be very, very wrong but I think the old Bortles has finally grown up and toned his shit down.

That defense is staying together. We would have made a much higher offer to ARob if that wasn't our priority.

 

Also I'm very jealous of that trade. Jags never got sexy trade offers when we were picking top 5

Even if we did though, gotta say I'm happy with Ramsey and Fournette. Especially with Ramsey, I'm not sure a trade would have netted us more talent than he gives us by himself. Would have definitely preferred a trade down over our first round picks in 2013, 2014 and 2015 though.

Yeah, thats a trade you make day of. Or once its 100% clear the Browns are taking a QB and the Giants are taking Barkley or something similar.
