I went grocery shopping and they were having a party at the store with a DJ and everything. I left with a bag filled with free snacks plus had pasta, cupcakes, cheese, and brownies and a drink for freeeee!! Idk what's happening but they need to do this all the time!

I haven't tried to parallel park since I learned to drive. I live downtown so it'd be a useful skill but I don't like people watching me. Tonight there was nobody around so I took my shot. I was soooooo close. So close. But I failed and gave up and had to park all far away smh!!

 

I can only do things correctly in general if I'm not being watched

 

Just tried snowboarding for the first time with some friends and holy hell that was fun. Absolutely spent and tired, but what a rush. I don't normally do any kind of sports so this is new and I'm sore and properly embarrassed myself but very good experience!

Oh my gawd this episode of ER is so sad. A bunch of undocumented immigrants were harmed at work and this guy is like 90% burned and is gonna die and he's like I live in a lil garage and I have some money saved up. Please send it to my wife in Guatemala and tell her what happened to me and I'm like

 

I badly identify with this. Never found it hard when I was learning, but then I didn't own a car for 5-6 years after I learned. I hired them here or there, but never needed to parallel park. Now I can only half do them and normally in spaces which are big. It's quite shameful.

 

I'm babysitting this kid and he's watching YouTube videos of families where parents kinda encourage their kids to be awful and I am so unamused rn!!

 

people exploiting their kids for Youtube makes me so mad, like it's different if you happen to capture a cute moment

 

Yeah it was super weird and seemed scripted but still promoting bad habits. Like at one point the mom screamed at the kid to act childish back I guess? It was weird. And then the dad told the kid to hit the mom with a plastic sword and it looked like it legit hurt and I could not. So obnoxious.

 

I just remembered that last night I had a dream that I met Christina Aguilera at a beach or river randomly and she was really nice but then I like shook her down about never touring for her last two albums and not releasing a new album when she said she would. Like I met her and was rude! I'm appalled by my dream self tbh!!

 

I'm excited to go to the Bay Area tomorrow but also it's going to be raining a bunch and I don't like driving long distances in the rain.

I'm supposed to go to this museum of like technology so that should be interesting?

The weather is warming up which means the creepy old guy is out walking again ughhhh!! I think I’ve talked about him before but he creeps on me every time I pass him. I started crossing the street when I see him but there’s this park lined with bushes I pass and I can’t see him but apparently he can see me and he’ll hide in the bushes and wait for me and try and talk to me when I pass. And today my neighbor told me she knows who I’m talking about because he creeps on everyone and is a registered sex offender. I’m seriously thinking about changing the route I walk bc he makes me so uncomfortable. This is like the fourth time I’ve had to change my route because of creepy men. Getting really sick of it!!

I'm starting to have co-workers start asking me to hang out and like communicate outside of work and it's weird.

It's like despite the fact I'll tell anything here on chorus, I keep to myself in my irl social media and life.
