Mid-card on ROH is far superior to whatever WWE tries to do with theirs. The main event scene at least on Raw has been a joke.

I swear to god right after I typed Henry is a troll my keyboard wouldn't let me type because it had died.

I wish Bully wasn't in ROH. So lame watching him run out during all those matches at 16th Anniversary

 

i agree with the midcard being garbage, at least on Smackdown, but i feel like in a vacuum match quality has been pretty high in the main event all year

 

wait really? i though Final Battle was his actual last match

 

He wasn't in an actual match but he came out and fought the Kingdom off and did some other shit

 

I don't find Bully interesting at all. His ECW/Attitude Era stuff worked because of the environment, but everything else does nothing for me.

Making him ROH's enforcer is fucking dumb.

 

Bully would prob rule as a color guy but I don't need to see him wrestle ever

 

Also, I don't find ROH's mid-card very interesting.

 

His legs look weird in person, major cankles and very veiny.

it's really a matter of preference. Miz is about the most perfect execution of the WWE heel that there has been in this entire era, but i get wishing we got a more wrestler's wrestler in that role more often

I mean really like I said before what kills WWE is the over saturation. It's quantity over quality because $$$$ and I get that. But look at NXT, ROH, and NJPW. All produce much less and it just is enjoyed more by wrestling geeks like us in general.

 

Absolutely beautiful story about Zelina Vega's parents. Her father died on 9/11. Damn I am going to root for this girl even more now.

 

Not to make it about me but the video really resonates with me. It will be 3 years on Saturday since my father died. He spoke with my mom two days before he died about how much he still loved her (they had been divorced for 10 years) and loved me and my brother. I think he knew his time was coming due to health but he hadn't disclosed it to us. Really hits home for me.

And the wrestling geeks make up the vast minority of fans. What you say is over saturation is meeting the demand of causal fans (maybe, I haven’t looked at ratings of their other shows)

 

I was watching the Monday night wars on the network, the episode about undertaker and sting, and I really love how old characters used to gradually evolve into better and more successful characters. How sting became the all dark mysterious guy who never spoke, and how undertaker became the minister of darkness and kept evolving and showing more to his character.

I feel like we don’t get that much of an evolution. Like I love Seth Rollins but can someone tell me what his actual gimmick is except being a really good wrestler who was the architect for the shield like years ago? Finn has a gimmick that’s never used, Bray has a gimmick that’s so overused.

 

i've found myself watching clips of Raw and Smackdown the next day, not out of disinterest but im either not home or when i am i'd rather play a game, definitely have enjoyed the product more this way and it makes the B PPVs more enjoyable
