i hope so. i mean the dude is rehabbing what is certainly a painful injury, has more time on his hands than he has been accustomed to, and has spent the rest of the time playing bar shows. a lot of reasons to fall off the wagon there but i hope he stayed clean

 

He was released on $0 bail apparently. I’m hoping he wasn’t intoxicated, I would really hate to see him fall back into his past demons

He's had a long history with substance abuse and you know Vince doesn't put up with that. Depends how many strikes he'll get.

Even if there were strikes for alcohol, WWE picks and chooses with them. Orton should've been let go if that was the case, but they found some weird way to "reset" his.

 

I doubt he’ll get into trouble but it wouldn’t shock me.

 

Since a Royal Rumble victory lets you choose your opponent, does the briefcase grant the same right? Like, could Carmella cash in on the Raw Women's title at Mania (or another upcoming PPV)?

 

Hard to see a believable way for Carmella to beat Nia but it's WWE so anything can happen

 

But she could believably beat Alexa

Depending on what they have planned for Carmella down the road, her entering the Asuka vs Charlotte match, only to be pinned by Asuka could be a great story too. Asuka retains her streak, Charlotte wasn't pinned and we can continue their feud, and we get the pop of a cash-in

 

That then makes 2 failed cash-ins from Smackdown though. Its the smart move at this point...but backpedaling on Carmella now looks really dumb after she won two MITB matches

 

I guess I could see Alexa getting the win with a roll up or something. Nia beats her up afterwards which leads to Carmella cashing in if it doesn't go the triple threat route
