Black Honey isn't even top half of TBEITBN for me. I'd put Hurricane, The Window, The Long Defeat, Stay With Me, Death From Above, and Whistleblower all above it, personally. Still a good song though, and a good choice for a single.

Black Honey is their best single. It's the only single, to date, that I haven't grown sick of after 2 months.

Mike and teebs, truly two people who do not understand how to stop flooding threads with back to back posts over and over.

Why don't y'all make a Thrice thread for just the two of you?

Thrice fans aren't elitists. If somebody wants to celebrate THRICE twenty times per day, I welcome it.

When I first joined AP, I posted a shit ton. I was made fun of for posting as much as I did during that time.

TBF, I was also a dipshit teenager and kind of deserved some shit but not for that haha

Actually I’m a little pissed off. Not bc I got called out (really don’t care about that) but bc people tried to put a nuzzle on mikes enthusiasm for a band he loves.. I wish I could still love a single band that much! He wasn’t hurting anyone or being disrespectful all he wanted to do was have a place where he could share his love for his favorite band. Maybe he can’t do that at work or with his real life friends bc they may not care as much. Isn’t this sort of the whole point of the forums for us to have somewhere to discuss the music we love?

Yeah, that was totally unwarranted and honestly just mean spirited

i’m cool with being excited about thrice, they’re one of my favorite bands, but posting some variation of TEPPOW or whatever ten times every two pages is suspect lol

Why do you care? Scroll past it, it's really not that hard. Trying to stop someone's joy about something because you're incapable of ignoring it.

I’m really glad the return from hiatus meant they were back to being a full time band. The break probably helped them find a more sustainable means for touring. These four guys are too good at making music together to ever stop. Really looking forward to a release this summer. TBEITBN still feels fresh and new to me even though I’ve listened to it so much.

Reading the notes to Alchemy really drives home how awesome and genuine these guys are. We're blessed to have them.

The most interesting part of those notes is finding out who wrote the songs and how long they’d had some of them written for. I had no idea Daedalus was written before Vheissu.

The three times I've seen them since they got back together they had more energy and passion in their show than ever, they're really into it and you can tell their hearts are in the right place again

That's crazy because that does not sound like something preVheissu.

Well I do remember reading or hearing about how they wanted to do more stuff like Vheissu for TAITA but they were stressed on reaching their deadline so we got what we got on TAITA
