speaking of ruining things, I ruined church bells for one of my old coworkers. About a year ago we were at a site of a future B&B reno project (I worked for an architecture firm) and when a nearby church's "bells" started going off, he looked over and saw they were, in fact, speakers playing bell noises. He was like "wait, they don't have real bells up there!" And I told him that like 99% of modern churches don't, because they're fuckin expensive and hard to take care of. He got really sad for a moment, then said "the magic is ruined."

Just the other week, he sent me a text with a video of a church's "bells" playing by where I used to work/where he still works, with the message "It just doesn't feel the same anymore."

i Think people underrate bmth. They have too many cringeworthy moments but their highs are really damm high.

So maybe that cancels out and they’re rated appropriately.

A college acquantience of mine was on jeopardy a couple weeks ago. She had green hair. I missed it.
