Yeah, I'm self-employed, so I ALWAYS owe money.

 

The first year I was self-employed was rough. I had no idea what to expect or how to properly estimate my quarterly payments, but this past year I used the quickbooks self-employed app/site and ended up with a $50 refund. it's still stressful as hell getting them done though, ha

 

bummer, I'm sure the actual taxes are much more annoying to file as well so it's a lose/lose

 

I usually do pretty well with deductions and stuff and don't end up having to pay TOO much. But putting it all together is never fun, haha

 

I finally started using tax software last year instead of doing it manually, because I got married and that was just easier for filing jointly. Before that, though, figuring out all the forms I had to file was an absolute nightmare.

 

I can't imagine, I've only ever done it via TurboTax, they make it so simple haha

 

I hear this struggle all too well. What software do you use out of interest?

 

H&R Block is the one I've been using today. What about you?

 

Was thinking the same thing when I woke up today.

Fuck. I have Prozac brain so I never remember everything.

 

Being self employed can be such a mess. And there's so many annoying little things that end up getting you. I ended up just hiring an accountant a few years back, it's so worth not having the stress. I print things. I mail them. I sign things. It's worth it ever year.

 

I got $1500 back so I was happy.

 

I got the same a the year I was prepping to move out here and was able to buy my dream drum set. Still super stoked about it

Cool I thought they were infraction points at 1st. I thought I was gonna get banned after the 1st day lol

 

Gonna go spend some time looking at bugs and things like that today.

I really like that clicking the thread title in a forum takes you straight to the first unread post. No more clicking that little "new" button.

 

i used the double tap on AP so much that i would do it on other sites too out of habit then get momentarily confused / frustrated when it didn't work

honestly every site should have that

 

Yeah, same here. My fingers were too fat for the new button lol
