I may go to this to see TTNG and Tricot and then peace out. Chon crowds are the wooooooooooorst.

 

that's exactly my thoughts, this is quite the insane "leave half way through the show" tour

 

Not to just see whether it's worth the ticket price...since it's at the House of Blues here, I imagine it'll probably be a $20+ affair, but I have no idea when TTNG and Tricot are going to tour here again (especially Tricot) so I miiiiight have to bite the bullet.

that chon tour is unreal. tricot and ttng by far my two favourite mathy bands. Polyphia and Chon are probably super fun live. wish it was coming here. would almost drive down to boston if I had a ride.

they're annoying bro-y nerds that will mosh to literally anything and have no regard for people's personal space

I'm gonna be up front watching for Tricot and TTNG and then hit the bar for the other two. I still enjoy Chon's music at least lol

 

The last time I saw Chon (their tour with Tera Melos and Covet), the crowd that was there for them thought it was a good idea to push mosh to every Chon song, even during the slower, more subdued parts. Combine that with the fact it was one of the rudest crowds (heard some blatantly sexiest conversations, people shoving by without tapping me on my shoulder or saying excuse me), it was enough to make me swear off seeing Chon in any environment again. It also turned me off of all ages shows for a while, but that's been remedied since. At least Tera Melos was good that night.

looks like its the used, red sun rising, and the fever. Events are popping up on Facebook, I think it'll be announced in about an hour and a half (thats when it says artist presale is)

 

I saw Chon in Philly last year and thought it was fine. I went more for Tera Melos, but the crowd didn't seem too rowdy or anything to me.

 

Also I just saw David Byrne on Sunday. One of the best shows I've ever seen. If you're hitting up his tour, you're in for a treat.
